As a seasoned adventurer and life sim enthusiast with countless hours spent in the charming worlds of Portia and Sandrock, I can barely contain my excitement for My Time at Evershine! Three years after the events of Sandrock, a new chapter unfolds, and I’m eager to embark on this journey as the Governor. The promise of character progression, expansive quests, and a more realistic art direction has me hooked!
Game developer Pathea Games has unveiled the upcoming installment in their ‘My Time’ series, titled ‘My Time at Evershine.’ This new game continues the life simulation and role-playing genre, serving as a sequel to both ‘My Time at Portia’ and ‘My Time at Sandrock.’ The narrative of My Time at Evershine is set three years after the events in Sandrock, offering players another engaging adventure.
In essence, My Time at Evershine offers character advancement with depth, an abundance of missions and discovery, overhauled gameplay elements, and a fresh, more authentic visual style. This game also includes a cast of characters capable of romance, boasts a 40+ hour storyline, and introduces a new town management aspect.
In “My Time at Evershine,” instead of being a builder under Portia and Sandrock, you’ll assume the role of Governor. This transformation sees your settlement growing from a simple campfire to a thriving city teeming with inhabitants. As part of your responsibilities, you’ll be tasked with recruiting settlers and constructing infrastructure. Moreover, you’ll need to navigate challenges posed by the rival Duvos Empire.
At Evershine, your experience won’t just be yours alone. It will accommodate up to four players working together in cooperative mode. You’ll also have the freedom to customize Non-Player Characters (NPCs), build relationships with them, and even have three of these characters accompany you throughout your daily activities. The game is brimming with fresh features, including full mod support for single and multiplayer modes, although it’s still in its early stages of development.
The game “My Time at Evershine” will soon be available for play on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, the next Nintendo console, and PC platforms. A Kickstarter campaign is set to launch on September 24th, but a specific release date has not been disclosed as of yet.
