Jessica Simpson reveals her 11-year-old son Ace is already taller than her in new social media snaps

The story of Jessica Simpson’s son Ace surpassing her in height is an excellent example of this natural progression. I remember when Jessica was a towering figure in both the music and fashion worlds, and now she’s sharing the spotlight with her growing children.
It appears that Jessica Simpson’s days of towering over her 11-year-old son Ace may have passed, as suggested in a recent photo she shared.
On Monday, the 44-year-old artist, actress, and mother of three posted a monochrome picture on her Instagram story, showing herself and her child Ace posing with their backs facing each other.
In this scenario, it seems that ‘Ace’, who is sporting some basketball shoes, stands somewhat taller than his mom, who is wearing a pair of cozy leopard-print slippers.
It’s not really shocking that Simpson’s son grew taller than her since she stands at only 5 feet 3 inches tall.
The new snap comes just a day after Simpson shared a snap from a movie outing with her daughter Maxwell, 12, sister Ashlee, 39, and her daughter Jagger, 9.
She recently posted a family picture prior to sending the children to school, showing that her eldest child has grown taller than she is.
Despite Jessica donning leopard-print platform heels, it’s Maxwell, her eldest child, who towers over her even when she’s only wearing sneakers.
In another picture from the pre-school morning session, Jessica and Ace were posed with their backs together. It seemed as if Jessica towered over Ace, even though she was wearing elevated boots.
Simpson, together with Maxwell, Ace, and their youngest child Birdie, aged 5, enjoys family life with her spouse, retired professional football player Eric Johnson. They recently marked their tenth wedding anniversary in July.
This month, Simpson was seen at LAX. During that encounter, she was questioned regarding her sister Ashlee’s fresh music and if we might expect new music from her as well.
Jessica playfully remarked, ‘I’m definitely releasing new music soon… Ashlee should hurry up and get herself into the recording studio.’
When asked if they might collaborate, she replied, “Absolutely!” or “Of course!” or simply “Yes, we could.
She expressed enthusiasm about sharing many things with her children, yet when inquired about the appropriate age for them to participate on social media, she found herself uncertain.
She expressed that she hasn’t fully trusted social media just yet, hinting at her hesitation about when her children might start using such platforms.
On September 15, the family joyfully marked the 45th birthday of their patriarch, Johnson, who transitioned to being a stay-at-home father following the co-founding of Legendary Disciplines, a wellness content platform that ceased operations in 2020, alongside Sifu Matthew Cohen.
Originally from Massachusetts, Johnson was legally wedded to ex-pole dancing instructor Keri D’Angelo when he first encountered Jessica (at her house party in May 2010 through a mutual friend). However, it wasn’t until five months after that he officially ended his marriage.
