NIKKE Patch Notes: Nonsense Red & Rouge (Sept. 19 Update)
As a seasoned gamer with years of experience under my belt, I must say that the September 19th update for Goddess of Victory: NIKKE has me pretty excited! The addition of a new SSR character, Rouge, and her unique abilities as a supporter is something I can’t wait to try out in battle. Plus, who doesn’t love a good spicy free costume for Red Hood?
On the 19th of September, we’ve incorporated an update that includes Rouge, a zesty free outfit for Red Hood, as well as a fresh Story Event titled “Jinx Player”. Here are the details from our NIKKE update.
In simpler terms, the September 19th NIKKE update announcement verifies the introduction of fresh NIKKE characters, along with alternative outfits for Miranda and Red Hood, and a completely new Story Event entitled “Jinx Player.

GODDESS Of Victory: NIKKE Maintenance times – Sept 19
In line with the September 19th update, the game Goddess of Victory: NIKKE will temporarily shut down for about 7 hours for necessary upkeep. Here’s when it’ll be offline in your area: [region-specific times]
- NA West Coast (PDT) – Sept. 18 from 8 p.m. to Sept. 19 at 3 a.m.
- NA East Coast (EDT) – Sept. 18 from 11 p.m. to Sept. 19 at 6 a.m.
- United Kingdom (GMT+1) – Sept. 19 from 3 a.m. to 10 a.m.
- Malaysia/Philippines (GMT+8) – Sept. 19 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m
- Japan (UTC +9) – Sept. 19 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
NIKKE, scheduled for September 19th, requires an extra 5GB of storage on your mobile device. If you’re new to the game, you should have around 10GB of free space to download and play it comfortably.
New NIKKE – 777 Gamemaster Rouge
In the September 19th update, a new character named Rouge will be introduced to SSR NIKKE. Players might recall Rouge as she was the game moderator during the Coin Rush event, the 35th story which concluded on June 20, 2024.
In the game, the character named Rouge NIKKE will act as a supportive figure. She’ll have abilities that decrease the cooldown time of Burst Skills and boost the maximum health of her fellow fighters during battles.

As a dedicated fan, I’m excited to share that starting from the end of the Sept. 19 maintenance and lasting until October 3rd, there will be a Special Recruit Banner featuring Rouge in NIKKE! While the patch notes suggest that Rouge may also appear on other banners after this update, it’s important to note that she is not a limited-time character. So, take your time to decide whether you want to roll for her now or hold off until later, knowing that she won’t be disappearing anytime soon!
Red Hood: Nonsense Red costume
At the Red Hood Special event, players can obtain a special costume for Red Hood named “Nonsense Red”. This unique outfit was awarded to Red Hood due to its victory in a popularity contest held earlier this year.

As a dedicated fan, I’m thrilled to share that the latest Story Event is all about the newest addition to our NIKKE family – Rouge! This captivating tale is named Jinx Player and it’s set to unfold from September 19th through October 3rd, 2024. Can’t wait to dive in and explore the adventures that await us with Rouge!
As a gamer, I struggle to get back to my usual routine, thanks to Blanc and Noir’s assistance. However, my faith in gaming has taken a significant hit, and I find myself fixated on luck and superstitions. As the final competition looms closer, I can’t help but feel an overwhelming sense of dread.

Miranda: Thief of Justice costume
In order to get the new costume you will need to purchase the Premium Mission Pass. Completing daily missions will reward you with Recruit Vouchers. Reaching max level will also win you Miranda: Thief of Justice. Shift Up have yet to share an illustration of the new costume.
