As a seasoned gamer with countless hours spent navigating the virtual battlegrounds of Fortnite, I can confidently say that the return of Iron Man is like a long-awaited reunion with an old friend. The Mark 45 suit, harkening back to Avengers: Age of Ultron, is a nostalgic nod to one of my favorite Marvel movies and a welcome addition to my in-game arsenal.

It’s been quite some time since the last Iron Man Fortnite outfit was available for players. But, following several reliable leaks within the community, it seems a new Iron Man skin inspired by his look in Avengers: Age of Ultron will be joining Fortnite.

For those who didn’t grab the Battle Pass during Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4, here’s what we know so far about Iron Man’s anticipated comeback!

New “Mark 45” Iron Man Fortnite skin: Release date and cost

Based on info from Fortnite leakers HYPEX and SpushFNBR, it’s expected that the Mark 45 Iron Man skin will show up in the Item Shop on September 17, during tonight’s server maintenance. Since a major update is scheduled for tomorrow, players should be able to buy the new skin once the maintenance period wraps up.

The Iron Man bundle includes various items, including the base Outfit, a Pickaxe, Backbling, Wrap, and Instrument. HYPEX provided a complete list of the items with the cost of each, which we have outlined below.

What else can I expect in the September 17 Fortnite update?

The upcoming Fortnite update offers plenty of appealing features beyond just the Iron Man skin. Epic Games plans to introduce a fresh Marvel-themed limited-time game mode (LTG), which allows players to wield Chapter 2’s Mythic superpowers. Furthermore, we can expect additional details about the newly confirmed El Rubius Icon Series skin and new Iron Man Mythics set to join the Battle Royale experience.

This should be one of, if not the, most extensive updates of Chapter 5 Season 4, and the Iron Man skin is just one of many exciting new additions.
