Schitt's Creek reunion! Eugene and Dan Levy enjoy hilarious moment with Catherine O'Hara and Annie Murphy at Emmy Awards

As a devoted fan who has spent countless hours binge-watching Schitt’s Creek and laughing until my sides ached, witnessing Eugene Levy, Dan Levy, Catherine O’Hara, and Annie Murphy reunite onstage at the 2020 Emmy Awards was nothing short of magical. It was like stepping into the quirky, hilarious world of Schitt’s Creek once again, albeit with a touch of bittersweet nostalgia as I realized that this beloved series had come to an end.

During the 2020 Emmy Awards on Sunday, Eugene Levy and his son Dan were joined by their co-stars from Schitt’s Creek, Catherine O’Hara and Annie Murphy.

As a die-hard admirer, let me share this thrilling moment: I, along with Annie (age 37), shared the spotlight with Eugene (a remarkable 77) and Dan (youthful at 41), presenting the final award for Outstanding Comedy Series onstage. What an unforgettable experience!

Dan exclaimed, “Wow, that’s my TV sibling Annie Murphy! She’s famous for her role in the popular series that won big at the 2020 Emmy Awards.

‘Hi, everybody,’ Annie said as the audience applauded.

‘What’s up, Annie?,’ Dan asked.

Annie mentioned that the standout star from Schitt’s Creek will be handing out the last award of the evening, thus…

Eugene then interjected, ‘There’s been a little confusion here, Annie.’

Annie said, “Yes, I understand, and that’s perfectly alright. However, could you please move slightly backwards on the stage?” As she stepped forward, she positioned herself in front of them.

Dan then told Annie they were there to present that person and it actually wasn’t her.

‘I knew that. That I knew,’ Annie quipped.

‘So please welcome our favorite TV mom,’ she added as Catherine, 70, joined them on the stage.

Schitt’s Creek is a Canadian-made sitcom developed by brothers Eugene and Dan Levy, focusing on the struggles faced by the once affluent Rose family after they are forced to adjust to life in a small town named Schitt’s Creek.

In this setup, Eugene portrayed the role of Johnny Rose, the head of the family; Catherine took on the character of his wife, Moira Rose; and Dan and Annie were cast as their children, David and Alexis.

Schitt’s Creek received critical acclaim and a total of 19 Primetime Emmy Award nominations.

The series swept all seven major comedy awards at the 72nd Primetime Emmy Awards.

It was the first time a comedy or drama series had received all seven awards.

Eugene and Dan on Sunday became the first father-son duo to host the Emmy Awards.
