As an ardent admirer of the captivating charm that is Fred Sirieix, I find myself utterly enamored by his enchanting life story. His reminiscences of England, sparked by a school trip at 13 and culminating in a flurry of smooches with 10 bewitching English lasses, is nothing short of an amorous fairy tale!

He is widely recognized as the charismatic hotel manager, often seen warmly greeting potential love interests on Channel 4’s show, First Dates.

At the age of 13, Fred Sirieix discovered a fascination with Britain, as he was captivated by the abundance of female admiration he encountered there.

The TV star, 52, confessed that during a school exchange trip to Stratford-upon-Avon he fell in love with England after kissing 10 girls in just 15 days

In an interview with The Mirror, Fred expressed: “During an interval in my life when I was around 14 or 13 years old, I stayed there for approximately 15 days and shared a kiss with ten different girls. France didn’t offer me such opportunities. It felt like discovering a kind of heaven!

Paying tribute to one exceptional woman, he said, ‘I once kissed a girl named Belinda. Upon returning home, my parents surprised me with a guinea pig, which I affectionately named after her.’

Fred has resided in the United Kingdom ever since turning twenty, and he stated, “From the moment I arrived, I’ve always felt at home here. It captured my heart from the very beginning.

In his observation, Fred pointed out that the candor found among the French contrasts significantly with the British, as their cultures appear to be polar opposites.

He observed that while Brits are typically more introverted and shy, the French will just say it how it is.

Ever since I was just a young teen, my affection for the UK ignited a spark within me that’s never faded. Now, as an adult, I’ve discovered another love story unfolding – one between myself and my beloved Fruitcake.

Previously, Fred announced that he and Fruitcake postponed their wedding because of the Covid-19 pandemic; however, they are planning to get married this year instead.

As a hopelessly smitten admirer, I must share a bit of my own tale – during the lockdown, I couldn’t make that magical moment happen as planned and propose to my beloved with a ring. But, fortunately for me, her heart shone as bright as ever, and she graciously accepted my proposal!

Last year, during his time in the “I’m a Celebrity” jungle, Fred mentioned that he and his partner intended to get married in beautiful Jamaica.

Fred said: ‘I’ve never had a bad date. But the way I met Fruitcake, I met her in Peckham…

Initially, as I strolled along, she flashed a warm smile at me, which I returned. Her eyes captivated me, and I felt an irresistible urge to converse with her.

‘I asked for her number, I said, ”Shall we go for a drink tonight?”

‘That was nine years ago. We’re getting married next year in Jamaica.’

Lately, Fred has been spending his summer in Paris, assisting his daughter Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix, who is 19 years old, during the Olympics.

I can hardly contain my excitement and pride! Once again, my precious girl has brought home a bronze medal in the 10m synchronized dive – what an achievement! Yet, it breaks my heart that she ended up in sixth place at the Women’s 10m Platform for the second Olympics in a row. Despite this setback, her spirit and determination remain unbroken, and I know she will continue to shine in future competitions.

Previously, the diving sensation from Team GB openly shared her struggles with anxiety after her initial appearance at the Tokyo Games in 2021, even contemplating leaving the sport altogether.

Meanwhile, though the diver appeared distressed by the outcome, her father Fred published a touching Instagram post, expressing admiration for her.

In the post, he posted a video of his little girl doing a dive, followed by an image of them hugging after, both of them grinning brightly at the camera.

In a heartfelt message, the joyful dad titled his post: ‘Thank you, Andrea, for this amazing journey and the motivation you’ve provided. What an unforgettable instant! You and your sibling are the most remarkable achievements I have ever, or will ever, create ❤️ #lifeisbeautiful’
