Dear Commanders,
I’m Hyungsuk Yoo, the director of GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE.
Happy New Year! This is our first developer update for 2026. We want to share our plans and goals for the year ahead, giving you an idea of what the NIKKE team is working towards in the coming months.
About Story Updates
In 2026, we’ll keep improving the game’s story, making sure all the parts – characters, fights, animations, music, and the overall plot – work together seamlessly for a better experience. Here’s a look at the planned story updates:
● February: Main Story Update
● April: Side Story / Main Story Update
● August: Main Story Update
● October: Side Story / Main Story Update
The February update is a major turning point in the story. It will bring together many of the plot threads we’ve been developing and clearly show where the story is headed. While it’s designed to move the narrative forward, it will also feature some powerful and unforgettable moments.
In 2026, we’ll continue to expand the stories of the Nikkes, exploring the backstories of key characters like the CEOs, revealing more about Oswald, and introducing many other exciting new plots.
I’m really looking forward to the story updates coming with the 4th Anniversary! It feels like everything that’s happened so far will finally come together in a powerful and emotional way.
We’re working hard to ensure Commanders can fully immerse in the world and characters of NIKKE.
About Battle Content Updates
In GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE, the engaging battles are just as crucial as the story itself, and they’re experienced alongside the Nikkes.
Our main focus for battle content in 2026 is providing a smooth and reliable gameplay experience. Alongside this, we’re planning several updates that we’re excited to share with you.
We’re planning two updates for the Solo Raid Museum Boss in 2026, one in February and another in July. Here’s a guide to the first update, coming in February:
● Season 4: Alteisen [P.S.I.D.]
● Season 6: Modernia [D.M.T.R.]
● Season 11: Storm Bringer [A.N.M.I.]
At the same time, we will improve the Solo Raid Museum by making Challenge Mode replayable.
After you complete Challenge Mode in the Solo Raid Museum, it automatically switches to No Limit Mode, and you can’t play Challenge Mode again.
Based on your feedback, we’ve made it possible to replay Challenge Mode with the original Level 400 restrictions. You can now try it as many times as you like.
This update lets players practice fighting bosses and experiment with different strategies in a wider range of situations.
We’re grateful for all the love and feedback you, our players, have given to NIKKE! We’ll keep improving the game’s battles based on your experiences.
We’re planning to revamp EX Raids (working title) in 2026. While the exact details are still being finalized, our goal is to create a more difficult and satisfying experience for players who enjoy Solo Raids, improving upon what’s currently available.
We understand that challenging content can be tiring, even as it feels rewarding. Because of this, EX Raids will now happen once a year as a special year-end event, replacing the traditional year-end Solo Raid.
Detailed recollection rules and process mechanics will be shared at a later date.
About Non-Battle Content Development
Next, let’s discuss Surface content.
We previously shared plans to improve Surface content, but after a lot of discussion and review, we’ve decided to put those changes on hold for now.
To improve Surface content in the long term, we initially identified over 100 small changes we could make. However, after careful consideration, we’ve decided that focusing on elements players directly interact with – like characters, story, visuals, and music – will have the biggest impact for Commanders right now.
We’re now working on developing NIKKE’s story and characters even further, building on recent choices and a lot of exciting new ideas.
We’ll provide updates on our story-focused progress between 2026 and 2027 as things develop.
We’ve decided to focus on other areas first, and now we’re dedicated to making sure that decision pays off. We’re working to create a more engaging and rewarding story for everyone.
The special coding language initially intended for Surface content will now be shared through other platforms and resources. More information will be available shortly.
Favorite Item Update
In 2026, we plan to introduce Favorite Item updates twice—in February and July.
In February, Moran, Zwei, Centi, and Privaty will receive their Favorite Items. We’re also excited to share a preview of their new looks with the reveal of their Favorite Item Wallpapers!

In 2026, we’ll keep improving the game in many ways, focusing on content, nearby features, and technical performance. We aim to make gameplay more engaging and reduce repetitive tasks, and we’ll continue to update existing content with that goal in mind.
In Closing
We’ve been incredibly grateful for the support and encouragement from our Commanders over the past year. Your feedback has been a huge help to our team and has shaped our choices and goals. We’re excited to keep collaborating with you in 2026 to make GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE even better.
Our team will put the ideas and promises we discussed today into action and deliver real outcomes.
We hope NIKKE provides a relaxing break from your everyday routine. To ensure this, we’ll continue improving how we develop the game throughout the year.
We sincerely wish all Commanders good health and continued success in achieving their objectives.
