Lucia Hawley was notably absent from red carpet duties at the Transformers One premiere in Sydney on Wednesday night, days after the death of her grandmother. 

At the global debut of the latest Chris Hemsworth film, the 7Bravo host, aged 26, was noticeably absent. This was following the passing of her cherished grandmother, Janelle, on Sunday.

On that particular evening, Bella Varelis, her coworker, took over for her and shone brilliantly while wearing a sleek, form-fitting black gown during the interview with Hemsworth who was 41 years old.

Since the sad demise of Janelle (Nicole Kidman’s niece), who passed away at the age of 84, there has been minimal public appearance. This was evident when she was seen leaving her late grandmother’s residence in Sydney, visibly distraught, not long after the unfortunate event.

On Sunday, Antonia Kidman’s daughter, who is a former TV host, left their residence with her long-term partner, Henry Poole, appearing quite serious.

With a pair of sunglasses sporting dark frames hiding her gaze, the presenter maintained a low posture as she departed through the front door of the residence, with the Kidman family gathering strength amidst the disheartening announcement.

Lucia cut a casual figure in a grey knit cardigan, paired with a white T-shirt and shorts.

She was spotted with a gray garment, a black leather shoulder bag, and tan-colored sandals as her footwear.

On Sunday, Antonia, Lucia’s mom, was spotted at Janelle’s residence in Sydney, where she resided previously and carried with her a beautiful collection of blooms sourced from the premises.

On Saturday, Nicole revealed that her beloved mother had sadly passed away.

The Australian actress, 57, was forced to leave Venice Film Festival to return to her native Sydney to be with her family after the devastating news.

On the last day of the Venice Film Festival, Nicole was honored as Best Actress for her portrayal in Babygirl, mere hours after her mother, Janelle, had passed away.

In a statement, Director Halina Reijn announced on Nicole’s behalf that she had recently reached Venice, only to discover tragically that her loving and courageous mother, Janelle, had just passed away.

I’m utterly astounded and must attend to my loved ones, yet I want to emphasize that this recognition truly belongs to her. She has molded me, directed me, and played a significant role in shaping who I am.
