Dave Grohl’s wife Jordyn Blum ditched wedding ring BEFORE secret love child bombshell – and rocker had ‘already retained a divorce lawyer’
As a longtime fan of rock music and the Foo Fighters in particular, I was deeply saddened to hear about Dave Grohl’s infidelity and the strain it has put on his marriage. Having followed Grohl’s career since Nirvana days, I always admired him for his talent, charisma, and seemingly strong family values. It’s unfortunate to see such a public figure go through this difficult time.
In recent times, it’s been noticed that Dave Grohl’s wife, Jordyn Blum, has been wearing her wedding ring less frequently. This observation was made several weeks prior to Dave Grohl publicly acknowledging the birth of a child outside their marital relationship.
Around early August, the mother of three, who has been with the musician since 2003, might have suggested some marital tension when she chose not to wear her wedding ring during an apparent stressful excursion they took in Los Angeles.
Despite strolling side by side on the pavement, Grohl, aged 55, and Blum, 48, seemed remarkably detached; he was engrossed in smoking a cigarette while she appeared fixated on her phone.

On Wednesday, it was reported by People that Grohl had already hired a divorce lawyer prior to his public statement on social media about the matter.
A day after publicly acknowledging the birth of a daughter with an unnamed woman, this event transpired. (Instagram statement was used to convey the information.)
‘I’ve just had a baby girl out of wedlock, and I intend to be a caring and nurturing parent to her.’
‘I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness. We’re grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together.’
In the year 2001, Grohl and Blum, both aged 48 at that time, first crossed paths and have been a married couple since 2003. Together, they are proud parents to three lovely daughters: Violet (age 18), Harper (age 15), and Ophelia (age 10).
Blum previously worked as a model and TV producer.
Before the news broke, the pair’s eldest child appeared to deactivate her Instagram.

In 2007, Grohl shared with The Guardian that his wife, Jordyn, and daughter, Violet, serve as the steadying forces preventing him from utterly vanishing.

Grohl divorced his first wife Jennifer Leigh Youngblood in 1997 after admitting to cheating.
Scant information is available about Blum, but it’s been reported that she graced the cover of Teen magazine following her discovery at a grocery store when she was just 12 years old.
Blum was reportedly working as a producer at MTV when she met the frontman.
However, Grohl admitted to Elle magazine back in 2007 that he wasn’t prepared for a committed relationship when he initially met Blum, and their interactions dwindled following just a few outings together.

On various occasions, Blum has teamed up with the Foo Fighters, one such collaboration being their 2002 music video for “White Limo,” where she was featured as a guest.

News of Grohl’s infidelity comes after he was seen with Blum at Wimbledon in July.

In August, Grohl openly declared his political views – by stating that any earnings from Donald Trump using one of his songs would be contributed to the Kamala Harris presidential campaign.
Previously, the president chose the 1997 hit “My Hero” by the band for his introduction of Robert F. Kennedy at a rally in Arizona following Kennedy’s endorsement of him.
Responding to this, the band stated to Billboard: “We weren’t given permission, and had we been, we wouldn’t have given it.
They mentioned that ‘proper responses are being initiated’ towards the Trump campaign, and any earnings will be contributed to the Harris/Walz campaign.
