As a lifestyle expert with a keen eye for reality television, I must say that Dr. Nicole Martin‘s departure from The Real Housewives of Miami is undoubtedly a loss for the series. With her unique blend of professional prowess as an anesthesiologist and personal charm, she brought a refreshing energy to the cast.

In the upcoming seventh season of “The Real Housewives of Miami,” the cast size will be reduced slightly, as Dr. Nicole Martin has decided not to return alongside her fellow stars.

According to Page Six’s report from Tuesday, the anesthesiologist who is 40 years old will not be participating in the reality show during its next season as he has decided to leave before filming begins.

The series began filming earlier in the day — without Martin’s participation.

Insiders told the publication that she was the only person departing the upcoming season.

DailyMail.com has reached out to Martin for comment.

The primary actors, such as Guerdy Abraira, Lisa Hochstein, Julia Lemigova, Alexia Nepola, and Larsa Pippen along with their companions – Kiki Barth, Adriana de Moura, and Marysol Patton – were choosing to stay.

Additionally, it was reported that some new females are being filmed for the show, but as of now, Bravo has not confirmed whether they will join the primary cast or simply appear as friends.

It remains uncertain as to why Martin is exiting the show, and Bravo has yet to comment on rumors surrounding her departure.

Nevertheless, prior to the commencement of filming for season seven, the doctor experienced significant personal transitions over several months.

In March of this year, Martin gave birth to her second child, a daughter named Genevieve.

She shared on social media that both mom and newborn daughter are on the mend following an unexpectedly early C-section delivery.

She shares the little girl and her son Greyson, five, with her fiancé Anthony Lopez.

Since 2015, I’ve been fortunate enough to be in a beautiful relationship with my partner. On the magical night of New Year’s Eve in 2021, my attorney decided it was time to take our bond to the next level and proposed to me, making it an unforgettable end to the year.

Martin also dealt with tragedy on RHOM when her father Miguel died in November 2023.

In her Instagram post, she expressed that she was struggling to find the right words and still found herself unable to do so.

The events transpired so quickly, leaving a surreal feeling that hasn’t worn off yet. A piece of me still anticipates the quirky phone call you’re known for.

She mentioned, “There are so many thoughts unspoken and experiences we didn’t enjoy together. I’m making an effort not to linger on those missed opportunities and instead, focusing on the progress we’ve made. You had a passion for life, and I believe you’re celebrating it right now in heaven.

Since the electrifying fourth season of RHOM premiered towards the end of 2021, I’ve been hooked! Martin graced our screens until the conclusion of season six, which aired its final episodes this very March.
