It's What's Inside trailer: Body swapping causes a friend reunion to take a dark turn

As a seasoned gamer and horror movie enthusiast with a knack for the macabre, I must say that the upcoming Netflix release of “It’s What’s Inside” has piqued my interest like none other this Halloween season. The body-swapping concept combined with a touch of comedy and a hint of psychological horror is something I haven’t seen since playing those mind-bending indie games late at night.

As Halloween fast approaches, Netflix has unveiled the trailer for one of their upcoming horror-comedy films, titled “It’s What’s Inside“. If you’re eager to see it, the thrilling trailer is available for viewing above.

In the two-minute, thirty-four-second preview, we see a reunion of former college mates, gathering for a pre-wedding celebration. At this gathering, someone proposes playing a game involving an enigmatic device. However, once everyone connects to the machine and it activates, that’s when events start taking a grim turn.

Initially, the device appears to be a body-changing machine, causing members of the friend group to exchange bodies one by one. At first, it seems like a fun experience, but as their psychological states deteriorate, hidden emotions such as secrets, longings, and resentments surface, leading to an “anguished exploration of existence” or simply an “existential crisis.

In this film, Greg Jardin serves as both writer and director. The talented cast includes Brittany O’Grady from ‘Black Christmas’ and ‘The White Lotus’, James Morosini from ‘The Sex Lives of College Girls’, Alycia Debnam-Carey known for her roles in ‘Fear the Walking Dead’ and ‘The 100’, Devon Terrell who has appeared in ‘Rap Sh!t’ and ‘Barry’, Gavin Leatherwood from ‘The Sex Lives of College Girls’ and ‘Chilling Adventures of Sabrina’, Reina Hardesty starring in ‘Brockmire’ and ‘StartUp’, Nina Bloomgarden seen in ‘The Resort’ and ‘Jane’, David W. Thompson from ‘Fear Street Part One: 1994’, and Madison Davenport from ‘From Dusk till Dawn: The Series’.
