Delta Goodrem reveals her fashion regret as she has to be carried to the stage amid record rainfall at BBC Radio 2 in the Park festival

As a seasoned follower of music and fashion, I must say that Delta Goodrem’s recent fashion mishap at the BBC Radio 2 in Park festival is a stark reminder of the unpredictable nature of both elements. Having attended numerous outdoor concerts myself, I can empathize with her predicament – the allure of a pristine white ensemble against the backdrop of a muddy festival ground is indeed tempting, but as Delta herself admitted, it’s best to avoid such choices prior to performance.

Delta Goodrem felt a pang of fashion remorse over the weekend as she attended the BBC Radio 2 in the Park festival amidst torrential rain.

The well-known Australian pop singer, aged 39, had to walk through the soggy fields of Moor Park, dressed in a pristine white jumpsuit made by Amanda Tasevski.

At some point, in order to keep her immaculate outfit clean, Delta was given a ride on the shoulders of a festival worker, which was captured in a humorous video and posted on Instagram.

In this initial footage, the artist known for her song “Born To Try” could be seen in the rear of a car, expressing her disappointment about the poor rainy conditions under which she was due to give a performance.

Expressing a moment of second thought about her entirely white outfit, she remarked: ‘Since I’m already wearing white, getting wet on stage is acceptable. However, getting it dirty beforehand wouldn’t be ideal, if you understand me?’

The gorgeous piece she wore featured a plunging neckline covered with countless diamantes which Delta paired with a set of crisp white pumps. 

In the following video, the multiple ARIA Award-winning artist could be spotted adjusting the hem of her jumpsuit carefully as she navigated the muddy terrain during the festival.

Overflowing with excitement, I nearly stumbled into a few soggy obstacles on my way, but nothing could deter me from reaching that stage! And boy, did I let out a whoop of relief when I finally made it there!

After her stunning performance, Delta had to be carried by a festival staff member on their shoulders to reach an interview with BBC Radio 2.

From the rear of the bustling festival worker, Delta exclaimed, “He handles everything, my radio guy! What luck I have as an artist! Check out my fantastic helper, Joe!

At a tent not far away, she found herself clean from the mud. In her video, she labeled it as being “the luckiest girl with an exceptional team.

At the BBC Radio 2 in the Park concert in Preston, Lancashire, Delta gave an exceptional and stunning performance that left no doubt about her talent.

On Saturday, the performer appeared onstage clad in a snug, all-white jumpsuit while serenading the crowd at Moor Park.

The singer of “Hearts On The Run” seemed to be thoroughly enjoying herself while performing her chart-toppers for the audience.

At some stage, the versatile performer even sat down to play the piano. Later on, she energized the crowd by jumping around and urging them to dance together with her rhythm.
