As a seasoned observer of the world of reality TV, it seems evident that Kristen Taekman is carving out a unique path for herself. Her decision to pursue parenthood through unconventional means, such as sperm donation and adoption, shows a level of maturity and self-awareness that is both refreshing and inspiring.

Shortly following the birth of her second child conceived through a sperm donor, Lala Kent has shared the name of her newborn baby girl – Sosa.

The 34-year-old celebrity from reality TV has a 3-year-old daughter named Ocean, whom she co-parents with her former partner, movie producer Randall Emmett.

On Monday, she posted a picture of the newborn’s feet on Instagram, which she captioned “Sosa Kent” and added a white heart emoji. This photo was seen by her 2.4 million followers.

The snap had over 325K likes and over 4,400 comments just nine hours after she posted it on Monday.

Several of her fellow reality stars, including Scheana Shay’s husband Brock Davies from Vanderpump Rules, also expressed their support for her.

In a post, Brock expressed, “We’ve got you, Sosa,” while another fan, Nikki, noted that Sosa translates to ‘salt water’ in Portuguese, an apt name given Ocean is her first-born child.

As a lifestyle connoisseur, I’d rephrase it to: “When the fabulous Vicki Gunvalson from Real Housewives of Orange County chimed in with a warm ‘Congratulations honey,’ it was clear that Shay and Brittany Cartwright’s special moment had everyone’s hearts. The duo responded with an outpouring of emojis, adding a touch of digital cheer to their celebration!

In response, Real Housewives of Orange County’s Heather Dubrow expressed her congratulations, saying, “Congratulations!!!”, while Vanderpump Rules’ Stassi Schroeder gushed over the newborn with, “What a cute little angel baby feet!” (or alternatively, “The little one has such adorable angel feet!”)

The Bravo Instagram account posted a congratulatory message saying ‘Congrats momma’, while Whitney Rose commented with ‘Congrats beautiful’ and Dorinda Medley used three heart emojis in red.

Elle King added, ‘Welcome to the world!!! Congrats mama Lala and big sister Ocean!!!’

Some bashed the name, though, with one user adding it’s a slang term for cocaine, with others asking it was a reference to rapper Cheef Keef’s nickname.

On September 3rd, she shared a short message on Instagram to announce the arrival of her child: “Welcome to the world, my dear. Born on the 3rd of September, 2024.

On the show “Vanderpump Rules,” the celebrity expressed that she was eager to have another baby, but had no desire for a father figure in this context, thus opting to utilize a sperm donor instead.

Kent expressed his strong desire for another child. His current child is now conversing fluently, and they are both thrilled at the idea of a new playmate.

She added, ‘I don’t want a baby daddy. It’s not happening. There’s no changing my mind.’

Kent went on to say, “While it might not be typical, I have a strong inclination that choosing the donor path is the best option for me.

I’m absolutely determined to keep this infant. Under any circumstances, this child is mine. Nobody will ever be able to snatch it away from me. It doesn’t need to be shared on Christmas – it belongs solely to me.

The Bravo star is keen to have ‘many’ children in different ways over the coming years.

She said: ‘I think I’m going to get a sperm donor, I’m going to have this baby. Then I’d like to adopt a baby. If I meet a guy later on we can have a baby.
