As someone who has navigated through numerous high-profile relationships in my time, I must say that the drama surrounding Taylor Swift and Travis Scott is quite reminiscent of a soap opera. The constant ebb and flow of rumors, followed by public displays of affection, and then more rumors – it’s enough to make one feel like they are living in a never-ending episode.

After being seen by Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce dancing to their classic hit “I Believe In A Thing Called Love,” The Darkness have once again found themselves on the music charts.

On Sunday, Taylor and Travis caused quite a stir on the internet by showing their affectionate side during the US Open women’s final in New York.

It turned out unexpectedly that Taylor could be seen passionately joining in on the chorus of the British rock band’s 2003 smash hit.

Due to the superstar’s widespread popularity, fans known as Swifties rushed to hear the melody, causing the band to re-enter the U.S. singles chart at position 33, which is approximately 20 years after the tune was initially released.

Sharing a video to TikTok on Monday, The Darkness frontman Justin Hawkins revealed he had woken up to the videos circulating online. He thanked the couple for helping him feel like the ‘dad of the year’ as he gushed over the delight of his young daughter.

Justin expressed that it was a truly touching experience for him and his daughter, who’s eager to share the story with her schoolmates. He then conveyed his gratitude to Taylor and Travis.

At the start of the video, Justin shared that he attended Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour concert in Zurich several weeks prior, and that a heartfelt note from Taylor expressing her admiration for one of his songs left his daughter thrilled.

A few weeks back, I attended Taylor Swift’s concert at Zurich’s stadium. The treatment we received was exceptional. A man in a golf cart escorted us to the main stadium entrance, parked us close to the trucks, and then led us to an excellent VIP section. On one side was Chris Rock, on the other Roger Federer. Needless to say, I felt like the coolest dad ever.

‘In addition to making things even more impressive, Taylor Swift wrote a heartfelt letter to me that was placed in the VIP area, expressing her admiration for my song I Believe In A Thing Called Love.’

‘I was just dad of the year, maybe dad of the century, because all of that was a big surprise.’

Moving on, Justin mentioned that he’s been receiving clips from people about the unexpected event at the US Open, where Taylor Swift and her partner were seen grooving to ‘I Believe In A Thing Called Love’. It seems they were simply enjoying the music.

It brought a lot of joy to both me and my daughter, who can hardly contain her excitement to share this with her classmates at school.

“Thanks so much to Taylor, Travis, and everyone who loves tennis. What a wonderful way to begin the day! Keep it up, team, and here’s to more great moments ahead.

Taylor and Travis dismissed false rumors about their romantic relationship, as they affectionately showed their bond during the US Open final.

Caught up in a whirlwind of public scrutiny, I find myself right smack in the eye of the hurricane, ever since those split photos and the so-called “break-up agreement” went viral. It’s triggered a flurry of legal action on Travis’ part, as he’s now enlisted his lawyers to help navigate these turbulent waters.

Recently, they’ve put an end to rumors by going on many affectionate public appearances, demonstrating their bond is unbroken.

On Sunday’s latest performance, Taylor was nothing short of stunning in a vibrant red gingham mini dress, which featured a corset top. To add to her allure, she wore a bold red lipstick.

During the US Open, Taylor and Travis could be spotted exchanging a warm hug in the spectator area, both clearly excited by the game between Jannik Sinner from Italy and fellow American player, Taylor Fritz.

On Tuesday, it became necessary for Travis’s team to refute rumors suggesting a separation between him and his partner, as a document originating from his U.S. public relations firm circulated online, sparking speculation about their future together.

The documentation, seemingly originating from Full Scope based in Los Angeles, outlines a plan for their separation, with the intended announcement set for September 28th.

It also outlines a supposed plan to release an official statement at the end of this month – three days ‘post-break up’ to ‘allow the initial media frenzy to settle and ensure clarity’.

It adds that the announcement will be ‘gracious, respectful and stress mutual respect.

‘Travis and Taylor have chosen to go separate ways following thoughtful deliberation. They both place high importance on their individual lives and kindly ask for your understanding and respect of their privacy during this transition period.’

‘They’re equally dedicated to advancing their professions and personal development. Despite this, they maintain a strong friendship, always sending well wishes to one another.’
