Anne Hathaway & Ewan McGregor’s Neighborhood Moves To Another World In Sci-Fi Trailer For The End Of Oak Street

Ewan McGregor and Anne Hathaway aren’t in Kansas anymore.

The actors will be starring in a new science fiction movie directed by David Robert Mitchell (known for It Follows). Warner Bros. recently shared the first poster for the film, which used to be called Flowervale Street. The poster revealed the movie’s new title, The End of Oak Street, and confirmed rumors that dinosaurs will be featured. The poster shows a dinosaur footprint in the yard of a typical suburban home.

Warner Bros. has just released the official trailer for The End of Oak Street. The trailer opens with a scene inside a typical home during a thunderstorm, and we hear a character named Hathaway discussing odd things happening around her neighborhood. She soon realizes that her entire street seems to have been transported to a different location.

The trailer features quick scenes of chaos. We see Anne Hathaway and Ewan McGregor running from an unknown threat, then standing before a strange, glowing portal. The trailer concludes with a shocking reveal: their neighborhood is now enclosed by a wall, appearing ancient and prehistoric, with a dinosaur chasing their children in the yard.

The new movie, The End of Oak Street, is scheduled to be released in theaters on August 14th, which is a great time for a big summer hit. The film stars Anne Hathaway, Ewan McGregor, and also features Maisy Stella, Christian Convery, P.J. Byrne, Chris Coy, and Jordan Alexa Davis. J.J. Anne Hathaway is joining Josh Hartnett and Dakota Johnson in the upcoming film adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s Verity. Meanwhile, The End of Oak Street has been in development for a while – Mitchell first announced the project in 2023. Filming took place from March to June 2024, and after a couple of delays, the movie is now expected to be released soon.
