As a die-hard fan of David Harbour’s mesmerizing performances, especially his gripping portrayal of Jim Hopper in Stranger Things, I am beyond thrilled about his upcoming role in Creature Commandos! The idea of hearing Harbour bring Frankenstein to life in an animated series is simply electrifying!

Beginning with the DCU’s television debut, the series titled “Creature Commandos” will revolve around an eccentric team of superpowered soldiers. This upcoming animated production will feature Harbour lending his voice to the character of Frankenstein.

As a gaming enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that after getting a December release window, the series I’ve been eagerly waiting for has officially been set for a December 5 launch in the US on Max. Unfortunately, as of now, we don’t have a confirmed UK release date.

As reported by Variety, each new episode is set to drop every Thursday on our streaming platform. The entire seven-episode season will wrap up on January 16th.

In a nutshell, the Creature Commandos are an undercover squad made up of imprisoned beasts, enlisted for tasks that are perilously risky for ordinary humans. The tagline reads: “When all other solutions have fallen through… they’re your final, most dreadful choice.

On this venture, it’s James Gunn, head of DC, who assumes both writing and executive producing roles. Additionally, the series boasts an illustrious group of actors.

Meanwhile, in updates from the DC Universe, it’s been disclosed that the Green Lantern series, named “Lanterns,” has received a complete season commission and is set to air on Max. The casting for this upcoming show is still under wraps at the moment.

Creature Commandos will premiere on Max on December 5 in the US.
