Heidi Klum left struggling to keep calm as she lifts the lid on ‘suffocating’ Halloween costume experience
As a lifestyle expert with decades of experience under my belt, I have to say that Heidi Klum is nothing short of a Halloween icon. Her dedication to creating extravagant and out-of-this-world costumes every year is truly inspiring, even if it does leave her feeling claustrophobic and suffocated!
Each year, Heidi Klum astonishes fans by undergoing extraordinary makeovers aimed at creating impressively elaborate Halloween costumes.
However, the tight-fitting outfits that cause claustrophobia are what leave the model feeling petrified. These constrictive clothes make it difficult for her to hear clearly and keep her composure.
51-year-old Heidi is widely recognized as the “Halloween Queen” thanks to her spectacular costumes every year. For decades, her awe-inspiring outfits at her annual Heidiween event have left fans worldwide amazed.
In a special conversation with DailyMail.com, she has revealed some insights into the rigorous mental training she undertakes backstage, hinting that her costume for this year is already in progress.
She mentioned that the most enjoyable aspect is when I conceive a sound idea, and it seems so to me, but ultimately, others will decide whether it’s effective or not. (or)
‘Once I step on that red carpet, the hardest is always the actual day. I literally get into it.
Contestants step into the boxing arena. Although it doesn’t require physical exertion for me specifically, I need to find inner peace as the pressure can mount when dealing with numerous responsibilities and stressful situations. Maintaining composure and investing ample time is crucial in these circumstances.
Additionally, the feeling of being confined due to the layers stuck to your skin makes it difficult for your skin to breathe and gives a sense of discomfort, much like something uncomfortable.
Heidi pointed out that the costumes are so restrictive, you barely can move at all and it’s hard to clearly hear others speak.
Essentially, my intention has been consistent: I create for the beauty of the process itself and the element of surprise with the hope of astonishing others, as I am aware that they eagerly anticipate my next move.
Moreover, I must emphasize that I don’t view this casually. It’s heartening to see so much interest in my ideas once more. I feel deeply honored by it.
As a dedicated lifestyle enthusiast, I strive to ensure my endeavors exceed expectations. I pour every ounce of energy into each project, giving it a hearty 150% commitment. My sincere hope is that the outcomes resonate strongly with those who experience them.
Heidi gained notoriety by going all-out, even enduring a grueling 10-hour process of getting prosthetics fitted onto her body to portray a massive ringworm – against the urgings from her team to reconsider.
Previously, the individual captivated everyone’s attention by arriving at her Annual Halloween Bash held at Marquee, NYC, accompanied by her daughter Leni, her partner Aris Rachevsky, and spouse Tom Kaulitz. Notably, she appeared as a peacock, while Tom was dressed as an egg.
In 2000, Heidi kick-started a tradition by flaunting her supermodel physique in form-fitting black leather attire.
Her daring outfits encompass characters like Fiona from Shrek, an alien from outer space who consumes men, and Michael Jackson in the guise of a werewolf, as seen in his music video for Thriller.
Apart from dazzling everyone with her creative Halloween endeavors, Heidi spends her time serving as a judge on America’s Got Talent alongside comedian Howie Mandel, actress Sofia Vergara from Modern Family, and show creator Simon Cowell.
Although she’s accustomed to evaluating contestants during the show, she struggles when it comes to receiving judgments herself. This is evident in her decision to silence the chatter on her social media platforms by disabling comments.
She mentioned, “I often feel like I’m being evaluated by others,” but added a positive note: “Fortunately, I don’t hear much of it.” This is one reason why she chooses not to activate her social media functions: “To avoid unnecessary judgment, I prefer keeping them deactivated.”
I tend to act based on my own instincts rather than being told what to do by others.
Well, I’m often subjected to judgement, a trend that has persisted since my entry into this field, particularly as a model. It seems to be the norm for folks in this line of work.
Initially, people make judgments about you based on their first impression. Afterward, it’s not just about what you say or do, but also what you choose to consume – both verbally and in terms of food preferences.
In other words, although I’ve grown accustomed to it, I may have been subject to criticism myself during the time I was critiquing others tonight.
