The MCU’s Newest Female Hero Receives Her Own Poster

A new poster has been released for one of the MCU’s latest female heroes. As the Marvel Cinematic Universe moves into Phase 6, several female superheroes – both established and new – will play important roles in upcoming films and TV series.

The official Daredevil account on X (formerly Twitter) recently posted a new poster from the upcoming season of Daredevil: Born Again. The poster features Camila Rodriguez as her character, Angela del Toro, also known as White Tiger. It shows her running, with a “Wanted” message displayed above her image, and depicts her wearing a white hoodie and vest.

Fans have seen a bit of Rodriguez’s character before in a previous trailer. It showed her briefly fighting alongside Deborah Ann Woll’s character, Karen Page. In that scene, while Karen points a gun at an unseen opponent, Angela is standing right behind her, appearing to wear her new White Tiger outfit.

Rodriguez shared a photo from behind the scenes, posing with Royce Johnson (who’s back on Netflix) while wearing her White Tiger costume. In the picture, she’s dressed casually in dark jeans, protective knee and elbow pads, a white hoodie, a green vest, and a striped scarf – a nod to her White Tiger character.

Season 2 will see Angela step into the role of the White Tiger, inheriting the mantle from her father, Hector Ayala, who was portrayed by the late Kamar de los Reyes. Although Hector’s character was killed off in Season 1, Episode 2 of Born Again, sadly, Kamar de los Reyes also passed away in 2023 after a courageous fight with cancer.

The second season of Daredevil: Born Again continues the story right after the first season ended. Featuring Charlie Cox as Daredevil and Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk, along with Deborah Ann Woll and Krysten Ritter, the new season sees Matt Murdock working to assemble a team of heroes. Their mission? To stop Fisk, who has imposed martial law on the city. New episodes of Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 premiere on Disney+ on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. Eastern / 6 p.m. Pacific time.

What To Expect From White Tiger in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2

As of now, Angela del Toro hasn’t appeared in the second season of Daredevil: Born Again, but she’s anticipated to have a significant supporting role for the remainder of the season. Fans believe she’ll likely team up with Matt Murdock and his allies to battle Fisk, though the extent of her development as a hero is still a mystery.

Angela might eventually create her own version of the White Tiger suit, possibly using materials from her late father’s original costume. Though her abilities are currently unknown, she’s determined to help Daredevil protect New York and won’t rest until she achieves justice.

The White Tiger is set to be one of the few female heroes leading the charge in Phase 6 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with several expected to play major roles in the upcoming Avengers movie. Yelena Belova, Sue Storm, Shuri, Mystique, Ghost, and Love are confirmed to appear, and there’s talk that Peggy Carter might join them too.
