As a seasoned film critic with decades of experience under my belt, I must say that the anticipation for this new Joker installment is palpable. The transformation of Joaquin Phoenix into the enigmatic and troubled character of Arthur Fleck is nothing short of astounding. His dedication to his craft, as evidenced by his dramatic weight loss, is truly commendable.

On a Friday, Joaquin Phoenix, along with his partner Rooney Mara, left Venice’s Marco Polo Airport while carrying their little one.

49-year-old actor, who recently graced the premiere of Joker: Folie à Deux at the Venice Film Festival, stayed near his loved ones as they were about to depart.

Two months ago, the couple added another member to their family – they had their first child, a boy named River, exactly four months prior to that.

Joaquin kindly greeted fans and signed autographs.

After assisting Joaquin with his latest film promotion, Rooney cradled their newborn infant in her arms.

Simultaneously, partner Rooney, aged 39, exuded casual elegance wearing fitted blue denim jeans. She cradled her baby using a striped baby carrier wrap.

She arranged her hair in a half-up, half-down style and donned some neutral sunglasses while stepping off a boat and casually walking through the airport.

The couple met in 2012 and became friends while working on the set of Her.

They began dating four years later.

Meanwhile, the name of their youngest child has not yet been publicly revealed.

Images from the airport were taken following the actor’s appearance at the premiere of his latest Joker movie, accompanied by his sister Rain, on a Wednesday.

At the 81st Venice International Film Festival, the siblings posed together with smiles for pictures in Sala Grande as they attended the event.

In the upcoming movie “Folie à Deux,” Joaquin, who is now 49 years old, is going to play the character of Arthur Fleck once again, also known as the Joker. The film is scheduled to be released on October 4th.

For the eagerly awaited occasion, the performer donned a sharp black evening suit, complete with a white dress shirt, a bow tie, and a pair of sunglasses.

In a brown velvet dress and fashionable large sunglasses, Rain stood next to her brother for some photographs.

The movie is the eagerly awaited sequel to the 2019 film Joker, which won an Oscar and grossed over $1 billion worldwide, making it the most profitable R-rated movie in history.

In the next part, we see Arthur Fleck confined within Arkham Asylum, waiting for his trial on charges related to his actions as the Joker.

In the midst of grappling with his two distinct personalities, Arthur unexpectedly discovers true love and, what’s more, unearths the melodious talents he never knew he possessed.

Previously, when Joaquin took on the role of The Joker as Arthur Fleck, he needed to shed approximately 15 kilograms for the part. His diet consisted mainly of lettuce, asparagus, and apples.

After a five-year gap, he reprised his Academy Award-winning character – a feat requiring him to shed nearly the same weight once more, a task he vows never to undertake again.

At the Venice Film Festival, he stated: “I won’t delve into details about my diet as I believe no one is interested in those.”

However, this experience seemed slightly more intricate due to the extensive dance practice sessions we engaged in compared to the previous occasion, as I didn’t encounter such rigorous rehearsals before.

The task seemed slightly challenging, yet it was secure. You’re correct; at the age of 49, it might be unwise for me to repeat such an endeavor. This may well be my last time.

He added: ‘I know I was responsible last time for talking about it, but it’s difficult to do so.

‘That becomes your obsession because you’re working the entire time to get to a certain weight.

Eventually, the conversation veers towards that topic, making it seem as if an actor is excessively discussing their weight loss achievements.

After completing that run, I felt extremely fed up with myself and frustrated, realizing that I had overreacted unnecessarily regarding that particular aspect since one simply does what they are expected to. This time, however, I decided, “I won’t react like that anymore.”
