Legendary Australian entertainment icon and PR guru found dead in his luxury Sydney apartment at age 43
As an ardent admirer of the Australian entertainment industry, I have always been in awe of the individuals who effortlessly navigate its complexities and elevate it to new heights. Jai Evans was one such luminary, a beacon of talent and resilience whose life story echoed through the corridors of fame like a symphony of success.
Legendary Australian entertainment icon and PR and talent expert Jai Evans died on Sunday aged 43.
On Friday, I learned from a reliable source that I discovered Jai’s unfortunate demise in his opulent Sydney apartment located in Darlinghurst the previous day. (Daily Mail Australia reported this information.)
The cause of Jai’s death is currently unknown.
Dan Wootton, a fitness entrepreneur from Bondi, shared the sad news in a post on his social media platform.
Dan posted, “Farewell Jai Evans. Yet another precious friend departed far ahead of the due season, leaving us all too soon,” accompanied by a bright picture of Evans.
‘Your vibrant energy & eagerness to help was second to none. Rest easy Jai, love you mate.’
The Sydney-based PR guru had over two decades of industry experience in public relations.
In the year 2005, he established a company named Evans Media that he himself had created. Over the years, he collaborated with numerous media firms, offering guidance on their public relations tactics.
As a die-hard admirer, let me tell you – over the course of his illustrious journey, Jai has worn many hats: an advertising guru, a savvy publicist, a visionary magazine publisher, a skillful editor, and a master of public relations. Quite simply, he’s been the man behind the curtain, pulling all the strings to make magic happen!
In a helpful manner, Jai assisted numerous significant media figures in Australia, such as Channel Nine, Sky News, News Limited, BRW, and Vogue, to attain their marketing objectives.
The media guru also had a host of Australian A-List stars he called friends, including actress Lara Worthington and E-commerce queen Anastasia Fai Kogan.
Additionally, he dabbled in acting for a while, making a single appearance on the popular daytime drama Home and Away back in 1997.

Previously this year, he offered guidance to Pedestrian on potential difficulties that the cast of Married At First Sight could encounter following their exposure to public attention.
Jai noted that finding their way through the world of social media can be especially challenging for people who have been involved in contentious situations on Married at First Sight.
This is due to the fact that companies and brands may be reluctant to engage with individuals who seem to lack trustworthiness or reliability.
