The upcoming movie will include a crossover with the Super Smash Bros. series. Nintendo announced just a week before the movie comes out that Fox McCloud will be appearing in it.
As a huge movie and gaming fan, I was so excited to see Fox McCloud from Star Fox confirmed for the Super Mario Galaxy Movie! After the first trailer dropped, everyone started speculating he’d make an appearance, and it turns out those fan theories were spot on. It’s awesome to see characters from other Nintendo favorites joining the fun – it really feels like they’re bringing the whole universe to life!
Nintendo and Illumination confirmed the news with a new poster featuring the character. Their social media post excitedly announced, “Let’s rock and roll!” and revealed that Fox McCloud will be in The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, coming to theaters April 1st.
Illumination and Universal haven’t officially announced who will voice Fox McCloud, or even if he’ll be in the movie. But, the recent poster featuring him prominently suggests he could play a significant role.
Other were R.O.B. from the Robot Series, and Pikmin.
