It’s now official that the BBC series started filming in Malaysia, and they also announced their cast – a number of whom are making their first appearances in the professional world

In this diverse group of young performers, David McKenna is set to portray the intelligent character of Piggy, while Winston Sawyers has been chosen for the role of the group’s leader, Ralph. Additionally, Lox Pratt will bring Jack to life, Isaac Talbut will shine as Simon, and Thomas Connor is set to play Roger

In the upcoming role, twins Sam and Eric will be brought to life by Noah and Cassius Flemyng respectively. Meanwhile, Maurice is set to be portrayed by Cornelius Brandreth, and Bill will be embodied by Tom Page-Turner

The four episodes of the series are titled based on key characters – Ralph, Piggy, Simon, and Jack. Each episode offers a unique viewpoint, focusing on these individuals separately

Furthermore, it’s confirmed that renowned composer Hans Zimmer is collaborating with Kara Talve, who worked on “The Tattooist of Auschwitz”, on the score
