In phase 2 of version 1.1, Jane, a detective on the Special Response Team, is featured prominently as a physical elemental damage dealer. What sets her apart from other anomaly units is not just her exceptional mobility but also her passive ability, Insight, which debuffs enemies, boosting both crit rate and crit damage for her and any other assault team members when she triggers an attack. S – Sharpened Stinger 

⭐ Anomaly Proficiency

• Upon activating a Dash Attack, gain 1 stack of Predatory Instinct. Each stack of Predatory Instinct increases the equipper’s Physical DMG by 12/15/18/21/24% for 10s, stacking up to 3 times. This effect can trigger once every 0.5s and repeated triggers reset the duration. When entering combat or triggering Perfect Dodge, gain 3 stacks of Predatory Instinct. While Predatory Instinct is at maximum stacks, the equipper’s Anomaly Buildup Rate increases by 40/50/60/70/80%.
• As this is not only a limited W-Engine but also Janes signature, this is without a doubt her best in slot. As Jane relies on using her dash attack, you will naturally gain a lot of stacks of Predatory Instinct, which will boost her overall damage output by a lot. More effectively, however, is getting perfect dodges, as not only will this instantly give 3 stacks of Predatory Instinct, but also accumulate Passion Stream, giving perfect synergy between her kit and this W-Engine.

S – Fusion Compiler

⭐ Pen Ratio

• Increases ATK by 12/15/18/21/24%. When using a Special Attack or EX Special Attack, the equipper’s Anomaly Proficiency is increased by 25/31/37/43/50 for 8s, stacking up to 3 times. The duration of each stack is calculated separately.
• As Jane is able to use multiple special attacks in quick successions, Fusion Compiler will greatly increase her Anomaly Proficiency alongside her attack, making it a great second option to Sharpened Stinger.

A – Electro-Lip Gloss

⭐ Anomaly Proficiency

• When there are enemies inflicted with Attribute Anomaly on the field, the equipper’s ATK increases by 10/11.5/13/14.5/16% and they deal an additional 15/17.5/20/22.5/25% more DMG to the target.
• Jane is able to apply anomalies at a very rapid pace thanks to her passives, making this W-Engine very good on her.

A – Rainforest Gourmet

⭐ Anomaly Proficiency

• For every 10 Energy consumed, the equipper gains a buff that increases ATK by 2.5/2.8/3.2/3.6/4% for 10s, stacking up to 10 times. The duration of each stack is calculated separately.
• As Jane’s EX Special rapidly depletes her energy reserves, Rainforest Gourmet will allow her to act as a quick and powerful burst DPS.

• Whenever a squad member inflicts an Attribute Anomaly on an enemy, the equipper gains a buff that increases Anomaly Proficiency by 30/34/38/42/46, stacking up to 4 times. This effect expires when the target recovers from Stun or is defeated. The duration of each stack is calculated separately.
• A generally great pick for all Anomaly Units, especially when dealing with foes that have high stun resistance in order to take advantage of the anomaly proficiency bonus for a longer amount of time.

ALWAYS PRIOIRITZE CORE SKILL FIRST!!!

To master Passion’s moves, focusing on her impressive dashes and skillful evasions will be crucial. You’ll find yourself utilizing these techniques the most, in conjunction with her standard attack

2. Since Jane will spend a lot of time on the field, it would be beneficial to evenly develop her base abilities, including dodging, as this will serve as an alternative method for dealing damage, making it one of your key strategies

3. Increasing this increases damage and daze, and will be your main source of damage after basic.

4. Jane’s Ultimate deals a considerable amount of harm to the opponent, but due to its infrequent usage among the three options presented, it can be considered lower on the priority list

5. This is seldom needed in a fight and doesn’t provide any additional benefits for Jane, making it the least important choice

In your team, if two or more characters are from the Criminal Investigation Special Response Team, after employing an active skill, there’s a 50% chance to initiate a chain of events, adding one additional hit for each trigger, up to a maximum of three consecutive triggers. This results in a boost in damage for the Bangboo Chain Attack by 35%

If your team includes any of the three individuals – Seth, Anby, or Qingyi, you’ll find yourself accompanied by two members from the Criminal Investigation Special Response Team (CISRT). In such a scenario, Officer Cui would be equipped to inflict significant physical damage through their active skill. Additionally, their chain attack becomes more potent in damaging elites and bosses

S – Plugboo

If your team has two or more characters possessing Electric attributes, the combined attack of the Bangboo Chain will result in a 100% increase in Anomaly Buildup

As a gamer, when I’m rocking Seth, Anby, or Qingyi in my lineup, the Bangboo’s electric anomaly buildup makes landing shock attacks a breeze!

A – Electroboo

If you have at least two characters with Electric attributes in your team, the Bangboo Chain Attack causes a 60% increase in Anomaly Buildup

A rank alternative to Plugboo, still able to serve an electric centric team very well.

Optimal Team Comps

Team 1 – Stun / Electric

This NEPS-focused trio, comprising Jane, Anby, and Seth, guarantees that each team member maximizes their unique strengths. Specifically, Jane’s Anomaly Buildup Rate is amplified by 15%. If the opponent is already affected by an Attribute Anomaly, this rate increases further by another 15% for Jane. Replacing Qingyi with Anby is possible, but Seth plays a vital role alongside Jane due to their exceptional synergy; they boost anomaly damage and simultaneously lower the enemy’s anomaly resistance

Team 2 – Disorder / Anomaly

The trio of Jane, Grace, and Seth, collectively known as the Anomaly Team, have the ability to activate their unique powers (Attribute Anomalies) and inflict Chaos Damage (Disorder DMG). This team offers versatility, allowing Seth to be swapped with a supportive character like Rina, while Grace can be replaced by another Anomaly unit, as long as they aren’t physical counterparts
