The cherished universe of Minecraft is transitioning to the silver screen with a thrilling new revelation – a film named “The Minecraft Film.” This will be the initial live-action interpretation of the best-selling video game ever produced. With the first teaser already released, Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures have confirmed that the movie will hit cinemas on April 4th, 2025

After encountering a puzzling gateway, they are plunged into the Overworld, a realm teeming with mystery but also harboring potential threats such as Piglins and Zombies

Featuring Jack Black and Jason Momoa, whose pairing was said to be finalized as early as 2022, the on-screen dynamics between these two is certainly a highlight. Additionally, Emma Myers, Danielle Brooks, Sebastian Eugene Hansen, and Jennifer Coolidge are also part of this impressive cast

Under the leadership of filmmaker Jared Hess, the artistic crew encompasses production designer Grant Major, Visual Effects Supervisor Dan Lemmon who won an Oscar, and music by Mark Mothersbaugh.
