Matthew Perry’s Ketamine Queen Jasveen Sangha DENIES she knew Friends actor – as trial date is set in death case

Matthew Perry's Ketamine Queen Jasveen Sangha DENIES she knew Friends actor - as trial date is set in death case

As a former federal prosecutor with years of experience handling narcotics cases, I find this story to be both heartbreaking and infuriating. The life and death of a beloved celebrity like Tom Petty serve as a stark reminder of the destructive power that illegal drugs can have on individuals and their families.

The lawyer for Jasveen Sangha, who is known as the ‘Ketamine Queen’, has stated that she did not have any knowledge of Matthew Perry. This assertion was made following the setting of a court date for her upcoming trial

On March 4, 2025, Sangha, aged 41, a suspect in the drug trade, will stand trial together with Dr. Salvador Plasencia. Both have denied guilt in relation to charges connected to the case of Perry’s demise. They maintain their innocence

On October 23, 2023, they stand charged with providing an illegal supply of ketamine which allegedly caused Perry’s fatal overdose at the age of 54

Currently, Mark Geragos, Sangha’s lawyer, asserted on today’s episode of The Today Show that there was absolutely no relationship between Sangha and Perry whatsoever

He said: ‘There’s no mystery, she isn’t connected to Matthew Perry at all.

‘Others may portray her as someone she’s not, but there’s another side to her, a story yet untold. This narrative will come to light during her trial.’

In my capacity as a lifestyle advisor, I find myself compelled to share that I have learned about an unfortunate incident where I, unfortunately, became entangled in a legal matter. Specifically, I was indicted on an 18-count superseding charge related to the distribution of ketamine to a renowned actor in the weeks leading up to his untimely passing. This is a sensitive and regrettable situation that I am navigating with great care and transparency

In the lively scene of North Hollywood, Sangha was famously recognized as a supplier to celebrities. This earned her the colloquial title, ‘The Ketamine Queen’, supposedly due to her alleged extensive involvement in this area

She stands accused for conspiring to sell ketamine, keeping a place involved in drug activities, intending to sell methamphetamine, intending to sell ketamine, and five instances of distributing ketamine

In the hours leading up to her arrest by LA police on August 15, Sangha took pride in showcasing her fresh hairdo and new color on her social media platforms

Sangha openly displayed her opulent way of life, rumored to be financed through drug trafficking, on Instagram – a platform where she frequently uploaded photos from her trips to Mexico and Japan

Frequently, a suspected high-profile merchant shared photos of herself adorned with Van Cleef & Arpels jewelry, Louis Vuitton sneakers, and Chanel attire, along with shots capturing her enjoying caviar in exclusive airport lounges at LAX

As a die-hard admirer, let me share my perspective: I’m captivated by this multinational “Queen,” possessing both U.S. and British citizenship, who graced the glamorous world of Hollywood with lavish soirees for her cherished companions. Her resounding declaration echoes through the halls of my admiration: “Family is everything.”

Four months following Perry’s passing in February 2024, Sangha shared amused self-portraits on social media, lounging at a vacation spot in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. Her photos showcased her beachside abode and herself sipping drinks by the pool

Apart from sharing her experiences, she was proud to discuss her health and wellness adventure. This included utilizing IV drips following late-night socializing and advocating for ‘acoustic healing,’ a term she used to describe it as “incredibly uplifting and purifying for both the heart and spirit.”

Two weeks following Perry’s passing due to a ketamine overdose, Sangha traveled to Tokyo and enjoyed lychee martinis at the luxurious Mandarin Oriental hotel, which charges $1,847 per night for its suites

On August 15, Sangha was among the five individuals apprehended for their suspected involvement in a devastating incident that claimed an actor’s life on October 28, 2023. This event sent shockwaves around the globe

The court documents showed conversations among the accused suggesting that Sangha had a reputation within their circle for exclusively handling luxury clients and famous individuals in her illicit drug trade

The individual is being charged for allegedly utilizing her home in North Hollywood, known as the ‘Sangha Stash House’ in the indictment, to keep, prepare, and sell illegal substances like ketamine and methamphetamine

The accusation claims that Sangha was aware that misusing and unmonitored ketamine can be fatal, and it is alleged that she sold this very drug to Cody McLaury in 2019, who later suffered a lethal overdose

Upon receiving a text from a relative claiming that ketamine was the cause behind McLaury’s demise, I took to Google to find out if ketamine could potentially be linked to a fatality

She was also a key player in Matthew Perry’s drug-induced death, it’s alleged.

On October 11, 2023, I, an ardent admirer, claimed to have exchanged messages with Eric Fleming via Signal. I boasted about my top-tier ketamine and proposed a taste test to Perry, saying: “It might not be labeled, but it’s incredible! Give it a try and I’ve got more if you’re hooked.”

As a devoted fan, I’ve learned that on October 24th, I purchased 25 vials of ketamine from Sangha with the intention of passing them along to Perry. Interestingly enough, in this transaction, Sangha tossed in some ketamine lollipops as an extra treat for my large ketamine order

Upon learning about Perry’s passing on October 28, it is said that ‘Ketamine Queen’ Sangha contacted one of her suspected accomplices, advising him to erase any potentially incriminating digital data from their mobile devices

During a raid on her house in March 2024, the police uncovered a wealth of proof connecting her to the illegal drug trade, such as a drug storehouse filled with various illicit substances and approximately 1,978 grams of methamphetamine

On March 19, a search warrant was executed at the residence of suspect Sangha, as detailed in an affidavit submitted to a federal court in Los Angeles by new DEA agent Tyler Abrego on March 20

In the course of their investigation, the law enforcement officers confiscated substantial amounts of illicit drugs. Among these were about 1,978 grams of orange pills which field-tested as methamphetamine, 79 bottles filled with a clear liquid that also tested positive for ketamine, and assorted other suspected narcotics, according to Agent Abrego’s report

A handgun was seen in the photo of the seized drugs included in Abrego’s affidavit.

The complaint said Sangha was a ‘large volume drug dealer’ previously identified by the DEA, LAPD homicide detectives and the US Postal Inspection Service.

Authorities confiscated her mobile device, containing discussions about peddling pills made from methamphetamine and ketamine

In a text conversation about selling the drug, she asked for a payment of ‘958,51’ to her PayPal, and said: ‘I think you’ll like these but remember they’re double strength’.

Videos recovered from her phone showed her ‘cooking ketamine’, the agent wrote.

Additionally, doctors Salvador Plascencia (age 42) and Mark Chavez (age 54), Kenneth Iwamasa (age 59), who lives with Perry as an assistant, and Eric Fleming (also 54 years old), a suspected drug dealer, have also been accused

According to experts, Sangha could face a life sentence over Perry’s death.

As a lifestyle expert, I’d like to share some insights from Neama Rahmani, a former federal narcotics prosecutor and president of West Coast Trial Lawyers. Jasveen Sangha is allegedly the supplier of the ketamine that led to Perry’s tragic death. If found guilty, she might be facing a possible life sentence in connection with his demise

The lower-level defendants and witnesses may face significant encouragement or even coercion to testify against the doctor supplying Ketamine, or any others involved in illegally procuring it for Perry

“Certain medical professionals argue that ketamine injections might alleviate anxiety and depression; however, it’s also commonly misused as a recreational drug. It was inappropriate for Perry to use ketamine, especially not in a hot tub, outside of a supervised therapeutic context.”

This significant case carries a strong warning, not only for medical professionals but also for dealers, regarding the unscrupulous practice of making profits by disseminating ketamine

As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but express my outrage over Sangha and Plasencia. It’s clear they prioritized their profits over the well-being of Mr. Perry. United States Attorney Martin Estrada couldn’t have said it better himself!

‘Drug dealers selling dangerous substances are gambling with other people’s lives over greed.

In this situation, as well as numerous other cases where we prosecute drug dealers responsible for fatalities, we’re making it unequivocally clear that such individuals will face consequences for the lives they take

LAPD Chief Dominic Choi stated: ‘To apprehend those responsible for the premature demise of Mr. Perry, it took cooperation and effort from many individuals. I’d like to express my gratitude to the LAPD investigators and our federal colleagues for their perseverance and commitment.’

In our local neighborhoods, LAPD officers see up close and personal the damage these drugs inflict each day. It’s great that our joint work has resulted in apprehending those responsible for it
