In the second season premiere of “Tell Me Lie” on Hulu, not only was there one episode but two, both setting up a solid foundation for the storylines to unfold in this season. The title of the episode, “I Shall Now Perform a 180 Flip-Flop,” is particularly applicable to the character Bree, and we can expect more developments from her in this season, including episode 2. In the second episode of season 2 for “Tell Me Lies,” it’s evident that this tight-knit circle of friends keeps entangling themselves further in their tangled web of deception, and there seems to be an intricate connection between them all. I found myself captivated by the second episode, as the storylines are progressing swiftly. While the characters might not always make the wisest decisions, that’s part of what makes them compelling. The episode continues to lay the groundwork for future lies and leaves me curious about the consequences they’ll face as a result. Episode rating: B.
