WB Games has unveiled a fresh gameplay trailer for the Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns title, giving fans a peek at Sektor – the red-armored comrade of Lin Kuei warrior Cyrax – who is one of six additional playable DLC characters set to join the game
In Fire God Liu Kang’s ‘New Era’, Sektor is born into the Lin Kuei culture, with his father being a renowned master armorer and his mother a formidable warrior within the clan. Under their tutelage, he developed martial arts prowess and expertise in weaponry. Eventually, he rose through the ranks to become one of Sub-Zero’s trusted lieutenants
The video trailer demonstrates Sektor’s combat style and her advanced arsenal, featuring her signature flamethrower, missiles, and rocket boosters to fly. Additionally, it offers a glimpse of her Animality transformation, where she turns into a rhinoceros, using its horn to gore her opponent
The character Sektor will debut in the Khaos Reigns expansion pack for Mortal Kombat 1 on September 24th. This expansion includes six new characters, including Cyrax, Sektor, Noob Saibot (available from day one), Ghostface from Scream, T-1000 from Terminator 2, and Conan the Barbarian (to be released post-launch). Additionally, a fresh story chapter will also be introduced. Animalities are set to be added through a complimentary update
