Okay, so I just finished watching this and seriously, Camila Morrone, you might know her from Daisy Jones and The Six or the latest season of The Night Manager, is incredible as the main character, Rachel. She’s really strong but also shows a lot of vulnerability, and honestly, I couldn’t take my eyes off her whenever she was on screen. She just owns the role.

Man, Gus Birney totally nailed his performance – he really brought the energy needed for that tough role. And Jeff Wilbusch? Seriously impressive range, he deserves a shout-out for sure.

Despite some moments of truly stunning storytelling, Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen occasionally feels heavy-handed. Creator Haley Z Boston has a clear vision and delivers a compelling message, but the show sometimes overemphasizes its points when a more nuanced approach might have been more effective.

Okay, so ‘Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen’ really keeps you guessing! The story throws a ton of curveballs, and honestly, I never felt like I knew what was coming next. It’s filled with these short, super creepy stories, which is awesome. But, and this is a bit of a bummer, it sometimes loses its scare factor because it reveals things a little too quickly. It kinda deflates the tension before it really builds, you know?

Even though it’s not perfect and could explore its interesting ideas even more deeply, Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen offers a unique and worthwhile experience.

Episode four is a major turning point for the show, and it kicks off a really exciting and surprising chain of events. We won’t spoil the details – you’ll just have to see for yourself!
