PUBG MOBILE rankings: Alpha7 Esports remain unchallenged at the top

As a passionate follower of PUBG MOBILE Esports and someone who’s seen teams rise and fall, I must say, Alpha7 Esports has been a real treat to watch this year! Their dominance over the scene is as relentless as a grenade bouncing off a car roof in a high-speed chase. The way they’ve maintained their top position since June and further widened the gap with their rivals after the 2024 PMWC victory is nothing short of impressive.

In the latest official rankings for PUBG MOBILE Esports, Alpha7 Esports outperformed a total of 55 rival teams, demonstrating their dominance.

The power rankings for PUBG MOBILE Esports have been revised to reflect the outcomes of the latest 2024 PUBG Mobile World Cup (PMWC). Unsurprisingly, Alpha7 Esports continues to hold the number one spot on the leaderboard following their triumph in the 2024 PMWC.

What is the PUBG MOBILE Esports power ranking?

In June of last year, PUBG MOBILE Esports implemented a ranking system. The rankings are based on the points accumulated in the past three significant PUBG MOBILE competitions, which take into account victories, positions, and exceptional performances.

The rankings from June were determined by a team’s performance at three significant tournaments: the final tournament of the 2023 PUBG MOBILE World Invitational held in Riyadh, the group stage and championship of the 2023 PUBG MOBILE Global Championship in Turkey, and the main event of the 2024 PUBG MOBILE Global Open in Brazil.

Following the conclusion of the PMWC 2024 conference, the latest rankings have been revised to incorporate outcomes from three key tournaments: the group stage and finals of the 2023 PMGC held in Turkey, the main event of the 2024 PMGO in Brazil, and the primary tournament of the 2024 PMWC hosted in Riyadh.

The leaderboard will likely undergo an update around mid-December following the completion of the upcoming major event, the 2024 PMGC held in London.

Alpha7 Esports dominate the leaderboard

Alpha7 Esports players have consistently proved their supremacy on the PUBG MOBILE Esports stage, holding onto the top spot they’ve secured since June. Furthermore, their triumph at the 2024 PMWC has significantly widened the gap between them and the other 55 international teams, establishing Alpha7 as a dominant force in Brazilian gaming.

At present, our team is leading with a total of 939.29 points, marking an improvement from their previous 797.87 points in June. Meanwhile, their nearest rivals, IHC Esports and REJECT, have managed to accumulate 760.50 points and 614.05 points respectively. Alpha7 Esports are highly respected figures in the PUBG MOBILE esports world. Their dedicated fanbase, totaling over 237,000 followers on Instagram and 38,000 subscribers on YouTube, attests to their popularity. Although they started in March 2020 with a different team, they have since undergone a roster change.

SEA took over China in the top 10

For the first time, Chinese teams are absent from the top 10 rankings in the PUBG MOBILE esports scene. Previously fifth-ranked Six Two Eight has been replaced by the Vietnamese team Dingoz Xavier, while the position previously held by Weibo Gaming at number 10 is now occupied by a Malaysian team named Alliance.

In recent times, this area has found it challenging to keep pace with other regions due to a lack of victory in the PMGC held in 2021, which was claimed by Nova Esports. The team has experienced difficulties maintaining consistent performance, even after implementing various roster adjustments during the past few years.

2024 PUBG MOBILE Super League (PMSL) is being held globally in its fall season, where teams are competing across all regions to secure a spot for the 2024 PMGC. Teams atop the leaderboard are seen as top contenders for the title. Unfortunately, those who don’t qualify for the 2024 PMGC will have to wait until the next major tournament in 2025 to make improvements in their rankings.
