Ratchet & Clank-Inspired 3D Platformer ‘Akimbot’ is Out Now for Xbox Series X|S

As a seasoned gamer with over three decades under my belt, I’ve seen my fair share of action platformers. However, Akimbot has managed to catch my attention with its vibrant graphics and Ratchet-inspired gameplay. Having grown up on classics like Crash Bandicoot and Spyro, the nostalgia is strong.

The 3D action-platformer titled Akimbot, with clear influences from Ratchet and Clank, has just been released! This exciting game, created by Evil Raptor, is renowned for its “over-the-top, unrelenting action.” In it, you embark on a mission to save the universe.

As the rogue robot Exe, also known as Akimbot, you’ll be teaming up with your comrade Shipset to fight off waves of mechanical foes and traverse galaxies piloting spaceships. Along the way, you’ll be carving out a path to prevent a catastrophic end to the universe.
