MOONTON Games signs a partnership with Saudi Esports Federation (SEF) to promote esports

As a veteran gamer with over two decades of gaming experience under my belt, I can confidently say that this partnership between MOONTON Games and the Saudi Esports Federation is a game-changer for the global esports community. Having witnessed the meteoric rise of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, it’s fascinating to see its influence extend beyond the Southeast Asian region and into the heart of the Middle East.

As a passionate gamer, I’m thrilled to share that my favorite gaming company, MOONTON Games, has once more teamed up for an exhilarating venture to boost the esports community of the amazing MOBAs they create, specifically Mobile Legends: Bang Bang in this case. This time around, MOONTON Games and the Saudi Esports Federation (SEF) have sealed a partnership with the objective of fostering esports in Saudi Arabia. This exciting news dropped during the same weekend when MLBB was crowned the ‘Esports Mobile Game of the Year’ at the Esports Awards 2024!

MOONTON didn’t actively seek partnerships for promoting its esports; rather, it had already established a partnership with Qiddiya in June, aiming to grow the global presence of Mobile Legends Esports.

As a passionate gamer, I’m thrilled about the vast potential for growing the esports community even more. I can’t express enough my excitement at partnering with SEF. Together, we aim to foster an inviting, diverse, and competitive esports environment that embraces all gamers.

This partnership will promote esports in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

At the recent New Global Sport Conference (NGSC), I, as a gamer representing MOONTON Games, had the privilege of sealing a deal with Turki Alfawzan, CEO of the Saudi Esports Federation. This partnership between our global esports entity and his federation was made possible by the ongoing NGSC, paving the way for exciting collaborations in the world of gaming.

Daily, the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) community is swiftly growing. For the first time ever, the MSC 2024 event has been moved out of the Southeast Asia (SEA) region this year. Additionally, MOONTON, the game’s developer, is rapidly expanding its global presence.

Mobile Legends may get a big spotlight in the Olympic Esports 2025

The two sides have concurred on outlining the strategic expansion roadmap for the Kingdom’s esports sector. This encompasses aspects like promotion, organizing major competitions, education, and fostering community engagement. However, what makes this deal particularly thrilling is the potential inclusion of MOONTON’s premier game, Mobile Legends, in the stage of the Olympic Esports Games 2025.

“Turki Alfawzan expressed excitement as he announced that Saudi Arabia is swiftly becoming a major international center for gaming and esports, and he’s happy to have MOONTON Games join us on this exciting adventure.”

It’s quite plausible that an event involving Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) could take place under the partnership between MOONTON Games and the Saudi Esports Federation, given the Saudi Esports Federation’s stated intention to include MLBB in their lineup of events for 2025.

The Saudi Esports Federation (SEF) serves as the governing entity responsible for cultivating top-tier competitive gamers and fostering growth within the gaming community and industry in Saudi Arabia. With their recent partnership, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang fans can anticipate major developments in the near future.
