Blue Bloods Season 14B will not premiere in September 2024

As a dedicated Blue Bloods enthusiast who’s been through thick and thin with the Reagans since the early days, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming season! The thought of waiting until October feels like an eternity, but I guess that’s what keeps us on our toes.

On Friday evenings, the Reagan family dinner scenes from Blue Bloods truly capture the essence of a Friday night for us, so we crave even more episodes. However, increasing our viewing means getting nearer to the conclusion, which is something we’re not quite prepared for yet.

As a devoted fan, I’m keeping my fingers crossed for our beloved Blue Bloods to continue its run. It would have been fantastic if CBS decided to reconsider the cancellation, just like they did with SWAT. Unfortunately, that hasn’t happened yet, but there are whispers of a spin-off series on the horizon! I’m eagerly waiting to see what unfolds next in this police dynasty.

As a devoted fan, I’m eagerly awaiting the return of our beloved family cop drama to the small screen. Unfortunately, contrary to our hopes, we won’t be seeing it come back in September, as is traditionally when fall shows make their comeback.

Blue Bloods Season 14B will premiere in October

We should hold off on watching CBS premieres until October, specifically on October 18th. That’s when the 14B season of “Blue Bloods” is scheduled to air, at its regular time slot of 10 p.m. ET/PT. Prior to that, you can catch the premieres of “SWAT” and “Fire Country”.

Among several aspects we’re eager to witness in the closing episodes, one key point is the reappearance of Jack, a character played by Tony Terraciano who hasn’t been around much since Season 10, when his character embarked on college life. It seems only fitting that we catch a glimpse of him again before the series concludes.

We’d be thrilled to see some additional characters make a comeback, perhaps even for a single episode. However, CBS is keeping tight-lipped about possible returns, so we won’t know for sure until trailers for individual episodes are released, which should excite us and draw us in to watch.

It’s possible we’ll see the character Tess, played by Simone Policano, return. Her connection with Frank, stemming from Frank’s bond with her father Lenny (portrayed by the late Treat Williams), has grown so strong that it feels like a family tie. A tribute was given to Treat in the series Blue Bloods, Season 14A, and it would be satisfying to see how Tess is doing before the series concludes.

Blue Bloods Season 14B premieres on Friday, Oct. 18 at 10/9c on CBS.
