As a long-time fan of Oasis, I must say that the announcement of their reunion tour and the 30th anniversary edition of Definitely Maybe has filled me with pure joy and nostalgia. Having grown up listening to them, their music has been a constant soundtrack in my life, reminding me of carefree days and youthful exuberance.

Fans of Oasis are overjoyed after getting exclusive previews of some never-before-heard renditions of their beloved songs, setting off a flurry of activity as ticket sales for the band’s groundbreaking reunion tour approach.

In commemoration of the 30-year milestone since their debut album Definitely Maybe was initially launched, a special edition of the LP hit the shelves this past Friday. This collector’s item features demos that the Gallagher brothers recorded at Monnow Valley studios in earlier times.

The brand new formats include specially-made vinyl versions and a limited edition blue cassette.

Additionally, it includes songs from the abandoned initial recording at Monnow Valley Studios, as well as extras from the final album that was recorded at Sawmills Studios in Cornwall.

The album also includes an unreleased demo version of Sad Song, which features Liam Gallagher’s vocals.

Additionally, the package showcases fresh designs credited to the original artist, Brian Cannon, for Microdot, as well as the initial cover photographer, Michael Spencer Jones.

As an ardent admirer, let me share that following our global recording contract, Liam, Noel, Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs, Paul McGuigan, and Tony McCarroll retreated to Monnow Valley studios nestled along the Welsh border of Monmouthshire. Our mission was to immortalize the electrifying spirit of our live performances on vinyl.

Initially, the recordings seemed too technically precise and polished, missing the genuine spirit of the band.

Instead, the planned sessions had to be abandoned, and the band relocated to Sawmills Studios in Cornwall to re-record their album.

Over time, and with the final touch provided by Owen Morris’s contribution, Definitely Maybe came into being.

Unveiling the Monnow Valley recordings and Sawmill outtakes for the very first time, we gain an intriguing perspective on the steps involved in creating the final masterpiece.

Upon hearing about the latest release, fans eagerly commended the opportunity to reexperience some of the band’s timeless hits in a fresh presentation.

30 years have passed, yet listening to Oasis for the first time feels like now. At age 21, I remain an ardent follower of their music. To me, it will always be relevant and timeless.

‘I have never heard such beautiful music in my life, thank you Oasis;’

’30 years and still iconic – this anniversary edition is a dream come true for fans!’

‘It’s so cool to listen to the unheard versions to see how the songs were constructed!’

According to Adrian from The Daily Mail, the updated version was hailed as an impressive revamp, earning a rating of four stars.

He wrote: ‘The magic lies in how Oasis used those influences. With Liam’s vocal snarl adding an aggressive optimism to his brother’s nostalgic melodies, Definitely Maybe is a viscerally exciting record.

It could be debated that the album ‘(What’s The Story) Morning Glory?’ from 1995 had slightly superior songs like Wonderwall, Don’t Look Back In Anger, and Champagne Supernova. However, Definitely Maybe is generally considered to be Oasis’s definitive release.

It’s expected that Oasis will reveal additional performances for their much anticipated reunion tour, with industry experts predicting these tickets will be snapped up within just 3 minutes.

Next summer, I’m thrilled to be part of the band that has reunited with our original guitarist, Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs. We’ve got a fantastic lineup of shows planned for cities like Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh, and Dublin, where we’ll perform a total of 17 concerts. Can’t wait to rock it up with you all!

As a die-hard Oasis fan, I’ve been eagerly waiting for this moment! The tickets for the Oasis Live 25 tour are finally going on sale at 9am sharp this coming Saturday. But here’s a sweet twist: there’s going to be a presale event a day earlier, on Friday, exclusively for some lucky fans who will be chosen from the ballot pool. I can hardly contain my excitement!

Over 4 million people are anticipating the battle for approximately 1.07 million concert tickets, as reported by The Sun. Insiders claim that if these tickets are all snapped up, additional performances will undoubtedly be scheduled.

According to those in the know, it has been verified that Bonehead will join the tour, and he’s thrilled beyond measure because the band is reunited again.

Liam and Noel Gallagher apparently desired his inclusion, as he played a significant role in making the reunion happen.

As a devoted follower, I found myself reflecting back on 2009, a year marked by Oasis’s separation. After years of internal strife, Noel Gallagher, one of the band’s founding members, made an official departure, just prior to a performance at a festival outside Paris. In his own words, he expressed that he had reached a point where he could no longer bear to collaborate with Liam Gallagher for another day.

For a considerable period prior to their separation fifteen years back, the brothers were known to have maintained a contentious bond. It’s said that they refrained from communicating with each other for many years following the split.

Supporters have been urging the group members to reunite ever since they broke up, and now they’re gearing up for what they’ve dubbed as the “century’s ticket frenzy”.

Based on what a source shared with The Sun, these performances are expected to run out of tickets in under three minutes. It’s certain that additional dates will be scheduled.

On Tuesday, Liam and Noel officially announced that Oasis will reunite for a tour in 2025. In this announcement, they hinted at past disagreements.

“Oasis declared, ‘The guns are no longer firing, the stars have perfectly aligned, ending the long-awaited moment. Witness it for yourself, as this extraordinary event won’t be broadcast on TV.'”

Additionally, a monochrome photograph showing the two siblings, both clad in dark coats, was unveiled together with the announcement.

15 years after disbanding, the iconic Britpop group that reached the charts with their album Definitely Maybe over three decades ago, has revealed they’ll start a tour at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium.

Next summer, the tour that includes both the UK and Ireland will stop by Heaton Park in Manchester, Wembley Stadium in London, Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh, and Croke Park in Dublin during July and August.
