Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 Gets a New Cinematic Trailer and Post-Launch Roadmap

As a seasoned Space Hobbyist and long-time fan of the Warhammer 40k universe, I can hardly contain my excitement for the impending arrival of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2! The prospect of joining Titus, Chairon, and Gadriel in a three-player co-op mission against hordes of Tyranids is enough to send any veteran Space Marine into a frenzy.

The sequel to Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine, titled Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, is set to release soon. Purchasing the Gold or Ultra Edition ahead of time will grant you access four days before the official launch. To build excitement for the game’s upcoming premiere, a captivating new trailer named ‘Angels of Death’ has been released. Additionally, details about the game’s post-launch plans have been shared publicly.

In the latest preview, Ultramarines members Titus, Chairon, and Gadriel are depicted engaged in intense combat against massive Tyranid swarms. Their objective is to protect mankind from a lethal assault. The trio can cooperate for a three-player mode, or alternatively, you can create your personal Space Marine to participate in either a PvE campaign or multiplayer conflict online.

The planned schedule for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, unveiled for Year 1, includes four distinct seasons of content. This means that all players will receive regular free updates featuring fresh missions, adversaries, PvP battlegrounds, weapons, a Horde Mode, and additional features as outlined in the roadmap infographic below.

Space Marine 2″ Gold and Ultra Versions come with the Season Pass, plus additional cosmetic items, allowing early access from 5th September. On the other hand, the standard version of the game will be available for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC on 9th September.
