3 things to watch for at WWE Bash in Berlin

As a seasoned gamer of WWE’s intricate narrative, I find myself eagerly awaiting the Bash in Berlin PLE on August 31. The card promises a series of engrossing bouts, but there are three particular storylines that have me on the edge of my seat.

As a diehard WWE fan, I’m counting down the days until we invade Berlin on Saturday, August 31! The WWE Bash in Berlin is shaping up to be an epic event with five thrilling matches lined up. Here are three aspects that have me on the edge of my seat, eagerly awaiting the next WWE PLE:

The Belair – Cargill Split

On WWE Raw, the women’s tag team division is frequently showcased. Although this might limit the growth of personal rivalries within the women’s division, it offers an opportunity to have multiple female wrestlers appear on TV simultaneously.

Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair are set to face off against The Unholy Union for the tag team titles at Bash in Berlin. At first, it seems like they might reclaim the championships. However, fans should brace themselves as there’s a strong possibility that these two may not only lose but also find themselves on the PLE (Pay-Per-View Loss End). The rivalry between Cargill and Belair has long been anticipated by many since Cargill’s rise to prominence in AEW. With SmackDown needing more feuds within the women’s division, this matchup could easily capture the attention of many viewers.

CM Punk versus Drew McIntyre running its course

For most of the year, CM Punk and Drew McIntyre have clashed frequently. An incident during the Royal Rumble set the stage for their rivalry to last nearly nine months. Although the encounters have been exciting with many significant highlights, things are starting to slow down. It might be beneficial for both parties to take a break from each other and engage in feuds with different men on the WWE Raw roster. Could they possibly reunite and fight again in a Hell in a Cell match? Definitely, but for now, it’s best they spend some time apart after their upcoming strap match. McIntyre emerged victorious initially, and if he does so again, it will signal the end of this storyline between the two.

Can Cody Rhodes keep the momentum?

At WrestleMania 40 in May, Cody Rhodes concluded his narrative. Since then, he’s had some fantastic matches while holding the WWE Championship. However, there’s been an increasing conversation about whether his title reign is starting to lose its luster. Roman Reigns has returned and The Bloodline storyline is intensifying. At some juncture, Reigns will challenge for the title once more. Can Rhodes maintain the energy that keeps fans behind him during this rivalry as well? Their upcoming match with Kevin Owens promises to be explosive, but will it be significant enough to keep Rhodes’ popularity high?
