With Catherine De Medici making her moves and the religious tensions boiling over, it’s like stepping into a time machine back to the tumultuous days of the French Renaissance.
Boy oh boy! At last, here we are for the season finale of “The Serpent Queen” season 2. I’m absolutely on tenterhooks to find out what will transpire next. Episode 7 was chock-full and ended with quite a dramatic twist that has left us hanging. If episode 7 was hectic, I can hardly fathom how the finale will unfold. Are you all set for episode 8?

What’s to come in The Serpent Queen season 2 finale
Based on the synopsis and sneak peek video from Starz, it appears that the season 2 finale, titled “All Saints Day,” will delve deeper into a key plot point introduced last week: Catherine seems to be transferring the regency and power to Edith, a Protestant leader. However, the question remains whether this agreement will indeed go through. We’ll discover the answer in just a few hours! In the meantime, take a look at the details and video provided below.
Catherine’s actions lead to chaos and bloodshed, leaving a trail of devastation in their wake; Catherine’s desperate measures may prevent total war, or they could unleash forces beyond her control.
It appears that Rahema remains in Catherine’s service at present, and the arrangement for Henry Bourbon and Princess Margot to marry is proceeding. The royal figure might be disheartened by this development, yet she might not have any other options. This season has shown us that Catherine will go to great lengths to maintain peace, but it seems her efforts might not be sufficient according to the synopsis. Some promotional images hint at a similar outcome as well.
In the images you see, disorder reigns and conflicts are taking place. Although Catherine’s intention to maintain peace seems sincere (at least in my opinion), it’s likely that not everyone will approve of her handing over her authority to Edith. The struggle between Catholics and Protestants is an age-old story, alas. During these periods steeped in history, such disputes are particularly prevalent.
In other scenes, Margot certainly doesn’t appear cheerful. It seems she won’t enjoy this episode in the least. Furthermore, Alessandro remains favored by his sister. However, Catherine may simply be waiting for her turn. She doesn’t tolerate well those who deceive her. I’m eagerly anticipating this thrilling finale! I have no doubt it will be fantastic.
