As a die-hard fan of The Kyle and Jackie O Show, it’s bittersweet to hear about Pedro Vitola’s departure from KIIS FM after seven years. But as they say, every ending is a new beginning! I can’t help but feel overjoyed for Pedro, who’s now embracing the most rewarding job of all – fatherhood!

After a span of seven years, Pedro Vitola, the executive producer of The Kyle and Jackie O Show, has decided to leave the radio station.

Pedro joined the show in 2017 after winning a listener contest for the ‘World’s Best Job’.

Last year in January, he had already risen to the position of executive producer, having been promoted to senior producer the previous year in 2020.

After the arrival of their newborn daughter, Lucia, he has chosen to resign from his position at KIIS FM in order to devote himself fully to fatherhood.

He expressed his gratitude by saying, “What an incredible journey it has been! I owe a debt of thanks to Kyle, Jackie, and everyone else on the team for the chances they’ve given me.”

One week following the announcement of the birth of their first child, Pedro is set to depart.

On-air Friday morning, the executive producer announced live that his wife, Patty, had delivered a robust baby girl.

Kyle Sandilands, aged 53, and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson, aged 49, conversed with Pedro and Patty on the phone, since they were attending to their newly born child at the hospital.

Pedro exclaimed with a witty remark, “I’m utterly amazed, I’ve never witnessed such a sight before!” He made this comment upon confirming that his beloved partner had just given birth.

He also revealed his newborn daughter’s adorable name – Lucia.

Overjoyed with excitement, here I am, congratulating Pedro and Patty on the arrival of their precious daughter! I can’t help but feel confident that he’ll make an exceptional father.
