Jessi Draper, who appears on “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,” claims her soon-to-be ex-husband, Jordan Ngatikaura, is responsible for a variety of issues.
After five years of marriage, Ngatikaura filed for divorce in Utah on Thursday from Draper. While they had been experiencing issues for some time, she revealed to Alex Cooper on Wednesday’s episode of “Call Her Daddy” (recorded on Friday) that they initially agreed to separate amicably. However, Draper later changed his mind, and Ngatikaura found out about his decision through a TMZ report.

Taylor Frankie Paul, a reality TV personality, says her daughter is struggling after a video of a fight at home was leaked online. The daughter witnessed the incident.
Draper revealed she was the one who initiated the divorce, telling her husband on Friday the 13th. He was surprised and didn’t want to end the marriage, but now he’s unexpectedly pushing forward with the process, which she finds odd, according to her conversation with Cooper.
She also found it odd that he publicly claimed she had an affair, especially since they’d both agreed to simply state “irreconcilable differences” – a standard and private reason for divorce. She clarified that she’d only kissed another man twice and hadn’t been physically intimate with Marciano Brunette from “Vanderpump Villa,” despite their emotional connection being a storyline on season three of “Mormon Wives.” Finally, she pointed out that Utah allows for divorce without needing to prove fault.
The Times was unable to contact Ngatikaura on Wednesday for comment on Draper’s allegations.
During their conversation, Draper described her husband as manipulative and emotionally abusive, adding that he’d mentioned being advised by another person to pursue a separate filing. She also told Cooper she believed her second marriage failed because she’d moved too quickly from her first divorce into the relationship.

The reality star was just about to appear on a new dating show when a cast member from ‘The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ caused problems, halting the plans. Now, everyone is wondering what will happen next.
According to Draper, shortly before the first season of “Mormon Wives” premiered on Hulu in September 2024, she received evidence suggesting her husband, Ngatikaura, had used an escort service in Texas. When she showed him what she found, he dismissed it as likely being AI-generated.
Draper also mentioned hearing rumors about alleged parties involving sexual activity that Draper supposedly attended, but her information came from unreliable sources – basically, hearsay. She further claimed that Ngatikaura had secretly listened to her private conversations using cameras installed in her home. She said he disconnected the cameras when he moved back in and she moved to a hotel, and then used the threat of releasing private text messages between her and Brunette to blackmail her.
Draper explained that whenever her ex-partner was angry with her, he would threaten to publicly share compromising information and sabotage her life, according to her testimony to Cooper.
Ngatikaura once told her he believed men and women should stick to traditional roles, and insisted she do Pilates daily because of it. This sparked an argument where he threatened to reveal private text messages he’d saved on his phone. She was particularly worried because no one knew about a separate issue with someone named Brunette, and she feared his threats would damage her business and the livelihoods of her many employees.

Taylor Frankie Paul, who appeared on the show ‘Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,’ is being investigated for a third claim of domestic violence, this time filed by her former partner, Dakota Mortensen.
I tried to get his phone, worried that whatever he was about to do could cause serious problems. I pleaded with him not to, and he surprisingly agreed. I was really anxious, so I kept trying to reach for the phone, almost chasing him. He then started recording me with it, taunting me and asking if I was going to involve Taylor Frankie Paul – referencing her difficult situation with the show and implying I’d ask for help on her behalf.
It totally hit me when he started subtly questioning what I was up to. He’s close to Dakota, so he’d clearly been hearing things, and it felt like he was deliberately trying to get a reaction out of me. That’s when I had this awful realization – I was running around after my husband, desperately trying to prevent him from using something against me, and it was just… not okay. It was a really unhealthy situation, and I knew I needed to get out, so I left him the very next day.
“I was like, this can’t happen anymore.”
