The race to to Prestige Master begins on October 25!

Information about Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 was abundant at this year’s COD Next event, where they revealed the newest addition to the well-known video game series. Prior to its release, Treyarch and Activision confirmed that the esteemed Call of Duty Prestige System would be reintroduced in Black Ops 6, bringing joy to many fans. Further insights into how this system will function within the new game have been disclosed, and here’s what we now know.

Explaining the Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Prestige System

In a refreshing turn of events, the revered “Classic” Prestige system is back in the Call of Duty series, offering a grand total of 10 Prestiges to conquer. Each time you reset your rank, you’ll unlock various in-game cosmetics such as Skins, Blueprints, Charms, and more. For instance, achieving your initial Prestige will reward you with an icon reminiscent of Call of Duty: World at War, reflecting its design inspiration.

According to the social media post, earning each Prestige in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 pays tribute to other games within the Black Ops franchise. To make things even more challenging, you need to reach level 1,000 to attain Prestige Mastery. Those who successfully complete this arduous journey will be awarded a “hidden prize.”

Here’s a complete list of features included in the upcoming Prestige System:

  • Unlock unique Skins, Blueprints, Charms, and other rewards only by Prestiging
  • Each Prestige is themed around a game in Black Ops history
  • Each Prestige adds a set of Calling Card challenges for all three modes
  • Maintain Weapon Progression and Global Weapon Builds through relock
  • Permanent unlock token available per Prestige
