Bandai Namco has revealed that the Open Network Test for “Sword Art Online: Fractured Dreams” will commence next month, allowing players an early taste of this multiplayer-centric adventure before its release in October.

In the Open Network Test for Sword Art Online, you have the chance to delve into a simulated universe similar to the popular series, participating in 20-player raids. You’ll get to pick from nine of the game’s total 21 playable characters. Encounter special foes such as The Skull Reaper and Sword Golem, and experiment with different character classes during your adventure.

Characters that can be played include Kirito and Asuna in the Fighter category, Agil as a Tank, Argo and Llenn as Rogues, Oberon as a Mage, Sinon and Fukaziroh as Rangers, and Leafa as Support. You’ll discover various character trailers that provide a brief introduction below.

The trial for Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream Open Network will take place from Saturday, September 21st at 3pm (British Summer Time) until Sunday, September 22nd at 3pm (BST), followed by another run on Sunday, September 22nd starting at 6am BST and ending Monday, September 23rd at 3am BST.
