As a seasoned veteran of the MMORPG world, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream Open Network Test! Having spent countless hours exploring the digital landscapes of various fantasy realms, I’ve developed quite an affinity for these virtual adventures. The prospect of stepping into the shoes of iconic characters like Kirito and Asuna, battling unique enemies such as The Skull Reaper and Sword Golem, and trying out the diverse character classes is simply too enticing to resist!
Bandai Namco has revealed that the Open Network Test for “Sword Art Online: Fractured Dreams” will commence next month, allowing players an early taste of this multiplayer-centric adventure before its release in October.
In the Open Network Test for Sword Art Online, you have the chance to delve into a simulated universe similar to the popular series, participating in 20-player raids. You’ll get to pick from nine of the game’s total 21 playable characters. Encounter special foes such as The Skull Reaper and Sword Golem, and experiment with different character classes during your adventure.
Characters that can be played include Kirito and Asuna in the Fighter category, Agil as a Tank, Argo and Llenn as Rogues, Oberon as a Mage, Sinon and Fukaziroh as Rangers, and Leafa as Support. You’ll discover various character trailers that provide a brief introduction below.
The trial for Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream Open Network will take place from Saturday, September 21st at 3pm (British Summer Time) until Sunday, September 22nd at 3pm (BST), followed by another run on Sunday, September 22nd starting at 6am BST and ending Monday, September 23rd at 3am BST. The trial will be accessible on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC platforms.
Any items such as weapons and add-ons that you acquired during the Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream Open Network Test will carry over to the main game once it goes live on October 4th.
