Jenna Ortega goes sightseeing in Venice ahead of her movie Beetlejuice Beetlejuice opening the film festival
As a dedicated follower of Hollywood, I must say Jenna Ortega’s journey is nothing short of captivating. The young actress has managed to carve out her niche amidst the glitz and glamour of Tinseltown, and her latest adventure in Venice for the film festival is a testament to that.
On Tuesday, Jenna Ortega was spotted roaming around Venice, not long after touching down in Italy for the prestigious film festival.
21-year-old actress, whose upcoming sequel “Beetlejuice 2” will kick off the festival, left a chic mark with her attire that consisted of a brief black miniskirt and coordinating top.
Under a veil of mystery with her dark shades, she wandered the city streets, accentuating her style with a chic designer bag in cream and elegant white heels.
During her outing, she frequently paused to capture photos of the stunning surroundings.
One of the stars from The Scream movie, known for portraying Astrid Deetz (daughter of Lydia Deetz played by Winona Ryder) in Tim Burton’s sequel, was part of a group of renowned actors such as Angelina Jolie and Sigourney Weaver who made their way to Venice prior to the film festival commencing on Wednesday.
The outing comes after Jenna looked back on the time when she was mistakenly linked to Johnny Depp.
In a video chat with BuzzFeed Celebrity, the actress was questioned about the wildest gossip she’s ever come across concerning her personally.
She indicated towards the suggestion that she might be involved in a deep romantic connection with Johnny Depp, who is 61 years old.
Last year, there was a lot of buzz surrounding them as unfounded speculation grew that they were connected, due to allegations they were both working on the Beetlejuice follow-up film.
She mentioned, in a surprising revelation, “It seems likely that I had a deep relationship with Johnny Depp, and we desired privacy. The idea of this being public knowledge is beyond belief for me. However, I’ve never discussed it before, nor have I made any such statements.”
During the same interview, Jenna shared that she tried out for the role of Chani, which was played by Zendaya, in Denis Villeneuve’s Dune film series.
The actress mentioned that she tried out for ‘Dune’ when she was approximately fifteen years old. However, she pointed out that the auditioning process was kept very private.
She mentioned that she was extremely fond of that movie series, and I looked forward to the interview since Denis is among her most admired directors, she explained further.
“In response to your query about the character I may have auditioned for, here’s my take: I strongly suspect it was Chani, and if not, it could have been Zendaya’s role. However, during the audition process, everything was cloaked in secrecy, so they never explicitly confirmed it.”
Recently, Jenna talked about her initial encounter with Winona when they worked together on the set of “Beetlejuice” (the movie).
Ortega shared with The New York Times that she was instantly friendly, compassionate, and inviting, making me feel extremely appreciative from the very beginning.
In an unusual yet intriguing manner, our connection seemed more like a mind-reading duet rather than just two individuals conversing. This, she pointed out, was part of our unique bond.
