As a cinephile who has had the privilege of witnessing the evolution of Yorgos Lanthimos’ cinematic masterpieces, I can confidently say that “Kinds of Kindness” is an absolute must-watch. With its unique narrative structure and a star-studded cast that includes Emma Stone, Willem Dafoe, and Jesse Plemons, this anthology film offers three captivating stories that will leave you pondering long after the credits roll.
After its cinema release this past summer, you can now enjoy the film titled “Kinds of Kindness” from the comfort of your own home.
Yorgos Lanthimos’ newest movie hit the big screens in June, but if you didn’t catch it then or preferred to wait for a home viewing experience, it is now available on digital streaming services in both the United Kingdom and the United States.
In the UK, Kinds of Kindness is available to buy right now from Prime Video and Microsoft Store. The film is also available to purchase from Prime Video in the US.

Featuring a star-studded lineup with Emma Stone, Willem Dafoe, and Jesse Plemons, the movie “Kinds of Kindness” is an anthology film that unfolds three narratives over its 165-minute runtime.
These stories include “a man without choice” trying to take control of his life, a policeman whose missing wife returns a different person, and a woman attempting to track down someone who is “destined to become a prodigious spiritual leader”.
Margaret Qualley, Joe Alwyn, Hong Chau and Mamoudou Athie also star.
The special show titled “Kinds of Kindness” is set to premiere exclusively on Disney+ in the United Kingdom starting August 30. Simultaneously, in the U.S., it can be found on Hulu from the same day.

In their third collaboration, the duo, Stone and Lanthimos, reunite, having earlier teamed up for The Favourite and Poor Things under their belts.
Later, it was disclosed that the work titled “Kinds of Kindness” shares a connection with “Poor Things“, as her peculiar dance sequence in the movie was motivated by a dance she performed during the filming of “Poor Things“.
One time, I was dancing on set and my friend Laura captured it on video. I shared it with Yorgos, saying something like, “This is how we spend our time upstairs while we’re waiting for the setup or whatever.”
Then, upon observing the situation, he thought, “This would be perfect for a dance routine titled ‘Kinds of Kindness.’ It’s an idea sparked by this moment.” So, I got to create my own choreography for it.
Kinds of Kindness is available to buy right now from Prime Video and Microsoft Store.
