As I delve into this captivating tale of love, power, and fame, it’s hard not to be reminded of the ever-unpredictable world of celebrity relationships. Ulrika Jonsson, a woman who has seen her fair share of high-profile romances, is once again making headlines. Her affair with Sven Goran Eriksson, the former England soccer manager, was a whirlwind four months of laughter and luxury. But as with many stories of love, this one too had its bitter end.

For the initial time since it was revealed that Ulrika Jonsson’s former partner, Sven Goran-Eriksson, had passed away, she has been seen in photographs.

The TV star looked downcast as she visited a supermarket in Oxfordshire after failing to share a tribute to her ex.

On Monday morning, the previous manager of England passed away at the age of 76, after a long fight against pancreatic cancer.

In 2002, Ulrika made headlines due to her shocking romantic involvement with Sven, another Swede, who happened to be in a committed relationship with Nancy Dell’Olio then.

Meanwhile, Nancy and many other celebrities have honored the deceased football manager with tributes, but Ulrika has conspicuously remained quiet about his death.

Taking a moment to glance at her phone, Ulrika decided on comfortable grey tracksuits for her grocery shopping trip, choosing not to engage with the news about Sven’s passing on her social media platforms instead.

On a Monday, she shared posts related to National Dog Day, while on the following Tuesday morning, she added photos of her dog Hank and her breakfast to her story.

Sharing a snap of her toast she penned: ‘No, YOU need more sourdough with your beurre’.

On Monday, she posted about National Dog Day on Instagram following the news of its passing.

The star, who often posts snaps of her beloved four-legged friends, shared a close-up image of what appeared to be her dog’s behind, noting that ‘every day’ was National Dog Day.

Ulrika made her post several months following the time when she labeled Sven as ‘not an honorable individual,’ after he shared that he was battling terminal cancer.

In January, the TV host shared a short message on Instagram following the announcement of disheartening news made by the previous England manager.

She shared a throwback photograph of herself on her Stories and insisted she didn’t ‘have anything to say about Sven’ and branded him ‘not a decent person‘ in an accompanying caption.

The now-removed post stated: ‘Here I am, being so youthful. Just a heads up. Regarding Sven, I’ve got nothing to add. #NothingAtAll. Not exactly the best person.’

Over the past three years, Sven had been in a relationship with Nancy, who is an Italian lawyer, aged 63. They made the decision to relocate to England due to Sven’s new position as a team manager.

But by the start of 2002, he had embarked on an affair with Ulrika.

Later, she penned about our brief romantic encounter: “I continued my search for true love, taking a short detour to spend a moment entwined beneath the sheets with Sven-Göran Eriksson, who was approaching his 60s.”

‘Remember him, the former England football manager?

Absolutely, I’m doing my best to move past the experience since it held roughly the same level of excitement as putting together an IKEA bookshelf, which lends significant credence to my case for dating someone younger.

Regardless of his affair with Ulrika, Sven’s companion remained loyal to him, but in 2004, he was involved in another affair with Faria Alam, who was then the Football Association’s secretary at that time.

In my account, the revelation about my second indiscretion created quite a stir, given that I’d previously been involved with Mark Palios, who was the head of the Football Association (FA) at the time.

In an Amazon Prime documentary discussing his life, Sven openly discussed his romantic entanglements, yet emphasized that sexual experiences can bring pleasure to everyone’s lives, while clarifying that he was never married and avoided causing heartbreak.

Discussing the start of their relationship with Ulrika, he mentioned, “Sex can bring joy to many lives. She wasn’t wedded and neither was I.”

‘Probably I was stupid but I think I didn’t do anything criminal. I didn’t really disturb anyone.’

He explained how Nancy had wanted to leave him, but changed her mind, saying: ‘She loved it. The tension. She was a lady from the upper classes in Rome. She liked to go out with important people.

Initially, I didn’t respond much. However, it’s difficult to alter someone at a certain point in their life. My house wasn’t always a peaceful place.

In August, Ulrika disclosed details about their brief romantic involvement. She shared that Sven had given her an empty check from one of Britain’s top banks during their passionateless relationship.

The TV host and fashion icon has saved the Coutts check as a keepsake from their brief romance, humorously commenting, “Perhaps I could’ve used it to balance out the trouble he caused me at one point.”

On August 16, following the release of a new documentary about his life, I found myself reflecting on our 16-week encounter and stated: “This was not a grand, passionate romance. It lacked passion altogether. Despite possessing immense power and wealth, he was the feeblest individual I’ve ever crossed paths with.”

She mentioned that he didn’t seem to have any romantic feelings, as their conversations mainly revolved around football when they weren’t engaging in physical intimacy.

In 2002, they crossed paths at a party hosted by Tony Blair’s advisor Alastair Campbell. At the time, she was a former weather presenter who requested his autograph, and he, being 54 years old, responded in Swedish and asked for her contact information.

After that, he persistently called her multiple times during his vacation with Nancy, expressing to Ulrika how stunning she looked. Upon returning home, they arranged a meeting and engaged in an intimate relationship.

Afterward, they jet-setted to Sven’s residence in Portugal during an undisclosed getaway amidst England matches, sharing laughter throughout their flight upfront.

After a night together in the luxurious villa west of Lisbon, they returned home.

In the morning, we headed to the airport as a pair, and while driving, he slipped a blank check from Coutts into my pocket without my notice. She stated in The Sun today that he had given me a blank check, which he secretly put in my pocket when I wasn’t looking.

The four-month relationship between them came to an end when it was exposed by the media, however, Ulrika asserts that Sven abandoned her without support or assistance.

Regarding Nancy, Ulrika commented: “I boosted her public image significantly. Once news broke out about her, Nancy became well-known overnight. She leveraged this fame effectively. Without my help, she wouldn’t have been selected for ‘Strictly Come Dancing.'”

He expressed that he felt anxious about departing from her. To be clear, I’ve never had a dispute over a man before. I could see that Nancy was holding onto Sven tightly, but frankly, there was no cause for concern.

‘He never promised me he would leave her, because I never asked him to’.

In all my sincerity, I swiftly corrected my touching homage to my former partner, having unintentionally addressed him as my ‘spouse’ in an emotional message earlier.

Initially assumed not to be married, the 63-year-old attorney and the Swede had been in a decade-long relationship. However, Nancy referred to him as her spouse when reminiscing about their shared past in a touching tribute.

Nancy posted a collection of new images on Instagram featuring herself with her former spouse, Sven. In the caption, she acknowledged their past relationship highs and lows, yet emphasized that love can endure, stating it doesn’t completely disappear.

Instead, she later modified her statement and referred to Sven as her former partner in the post.
