Heather Graham still looks fantastic at the age of 56.
I was so relieved to read in UsWeekly that this actress has been sharing her wellness secrets, and honestly, it’s great to know she hasn’t resorted to things like Ozempic! It’s inspiring to hear about how she achieves her results through genuine effort.
The Hangover actress manages her diet carefully, avoiding sweets at home because she used to have a strong sugar craving. However, she occasionally enjoys a red velvet cookie as a treat.
The woman with blonde hair stays active by practicing yoga and meditation to help her focus, and she also enjoys brisk walks to ensure she gets enough exercise.
She’s also chosen not to have plastic surgery, preferring to age naturally rather than risk an unnatural appearance. While she’s experimented with Botox, she regularly uses laser treatments to maintain her skin.
In a recent interview, actress Naomi Watts, currently starring in the film “They Will Kill You,” discussed her personal life, including why she chose not to marry or have children. She spoke fondly of her late partner, Heath Ledger, and shared details about her current relationship with an Italian director.
At the start of her career in her twenties she made some bad diet decisions.
‘I had unhealthy eating habits. In my early 20s, I was obsessed with sugar. I’d be like, “I don’t want to have dinner, so I’m going to eat eight candy bars or a pint of ice cream,”‘ she admitted.
Oh my gosh, it was SO bad! Whenever I had a really rough day, I’d just completely give up on normal food. Seriously, there was a whole phase where all I ate was frozen yogurt – for every meal! But then I started meditating, and somehow, that actually helped me start craving healthier stuff. It’s so weird, but true!
Now she has her sweets only once in a while.
‘I recently had a birthday, and [was sent] Beverly Hills Cookies,’ she said of the new fancy cookie shop that sells red velvet cookies and Reese’s peanut butter cookies.
‘I can have two cookies. But I can’t keep it in my house because I don’t have any control.’
She compared the situation to a scene from Sex and the City where Miranda was uncontrollably eating brownies. She ended up throwing them away, retrieving them, eating them again, and finally resorting to pouring soap on them to stop herself.
And she works out daily.
Good health is the most important thing in life. It’s sad to see so many talented performers struggling with illness, and I feel very fortunate to be healthy myself. That’s more important to me than anything else, including my career.
As far as Ozempic, she is not on it.
I understand why it’s popular. While many people love it, I’m worried we don’t know enough about the long-term effects yet. I’d rather stick to exercise and a healthy diet.
And she says no to plastic surgery.
I’ve never had plastic surgery, but I’ve experimented with non-invasive procedures like microneedling and Botox. I used to try fillers, but I prefer laser treatments now. My main goal is to maintain a natural look – I don’t want any extreme or unnatural results, although I’m not completely opposed to considering other options in the future.
I’m focusing on what I want, instead of worrying about how others see me or if I’m getting older. I want to live my own life, pursue my interests – like writing my own stories, going on a yoga retreat, and choosing the people I spend time with. It’s really about building my self-confidence.
In the early 2000s she dated Heath Ledger.
He was a truly remarkable person, and his death was heartbreaking. He struggled with personal issues, but I cherish the time I knew him. He was a significant love in my life – I was even a little obsessed with him, but that’s something I’ve grown from.
She explained she chose not to have children because she hadn’t met the right person to build a family with.
I focus my energy on my friends and career. I value my independence, and I’ve really enjoyed being involved in the lives of my friends’ children and building connections with them. Sometimes I think about what it would be like to have kids, but I also appreciate the joys of not having them.
She’s not opposed to marriage, it just hasn’t been a priority for her. She’s witnessed difficult marriages, like her parents’, and doesn’t want that for herself. She’s noticed her happiest friends waited a long time – about ten years – before getting married, and she’d want a similar long-term relationship before considering marriage. Ultimately, she doesn’t feel that a wedding ring is necessary for a fulfilling relationship.
She recently ended her relationship with John de Neufville, who is a Guinness World Record-holding snowboarder. They dated for two years, from 2022 to 2024.
I recently went through a breakup and found a lot of comfort in empowering, upbeat songs by artists like Dua Lipa, Doechii, and Cardi B. I’m really grateful for their music getting me through it!
Her new beau is Italian director Michele Civetta.
I’ve always been a bit different, and I’m not sure I want the traditional things like marriage and kids. My partner feels the same way – he’s been married before and isn’t against it, but he also doesn’t feel a strong need to follow conventional expectations. It’s a good fit for both of us.
