O.J. Simpson's lawyer reveals what happened to his ashes after his death

As an ardent student of American history and pop culture, I find myself deeply intrigued by this peculiar turn of events surrounding OJ Simpson’s remains. The man who once graced our television screens as a charismatic football star, only to be enveloped in a whirlwind of infamy and controversy, now finds himself transformed into jewelry for his children. It’s as if the very essence of this complex character is being distilled and preserved, not in a museum or a history book, but in tangible keepsakes that bear the weight of their family’s tumultuous past.

As a lifestyle advisor, I’d rephrase that sentence like this: According to my long-standing legal counsel, the remains of OJ Simpson have been transformed into pieces of jewelry, meant as a unique tribute to his children.

In April, the former legendary football player, who later became infamous as a suspected double murderer, passed away at the age of 76 after a brief fight against prostate cancer.

Through a series of events, he gained notoriety as one of America’s most recognized figures following accusations of the 1994 murders involving his former wife, Nicole Brown, and her companion, Ron Goldman.

Simpson was cremated at a private Las Vegas ceremony without a larger memorial service.

Malcolm LaVergne, who served as The Juice’s attorney for a long time and is now managing his estate, informed TMZ that they transformed his remains into jewelry pieces to be given to his four kids.

He did not specify what types of jewelry, just that the process cost $4,243.06 and the pieces were divvied up among his kids – Arnelle, Jason, Sydney and Justin.

Previously, I shared with DailyMail.com that my children and I have pledged to honor O.J. Simpson’s last requests.

Last year, Simpson resided in a lavish golf community in Las Vegas, primarily to be near his youngest son, Justin, who was appointed as one of the executors of his will.

Currently, Justin, aged 35, serves as a realtor and is happily married to his blonde spouse, Alycia Browne. Together they share two kids: their eldest daughter, Lana Nicole, was named in honor of Justin’s late mother, Nicole Brown.

arnelle simpson, the oldest daughter of simpsons, aged 55, is likewise the owner of a property worth around $795,000 situated within the vast golf community as well.

Apart from his children who reside with Chef Jason on the eastern seaboard (Georgia to be specific), and his eldest child, Sydney (aged 38), who dwells in St. Petersburg, Florida, with his second wife, the rest of his kids live elsewhere.

Before his passing, Simpson, a professional football running back who spent most of his career playing for the Buffalo Bills over 11 seasons, was struggling under increasing financial difficulties.

Despite being acquitted for the murders, his reputation suffered irreparable damage and the second half of his professional life became characterized by various questionable endeavors.

Following his acquittal, Simpson subsequently faced a civil trial where he was held responsible for the murders. As a result, he ended up paying approximately $33.5 million in damages to the families of the victims later on.

He never paid and died owing more than $100m to the Goldman and Brown families.

It is anticipated that both families will now file lawsuits against his estate, as LaVergne shared with DailyMail.com that these claims are expected to be approved, leading to a potential legal dispute in court.

In 2008, he ended up with more legal complications as he was given a sentence of up to 33 years in prison for armed robbery in Nevada. However, he was freed from incarceration in the year 2017.
