On Thursday, August 22, 2024, well-known political broadcaster Hasan “HasanAbi” Piker was asked to leave the Democratic National Convention (DNC). Initially, he was invited to the DNC and even provided a designated space for streaming the event.

So, why was the streamer kicked from the DNC?

Recently, he was extended an invitation to attend this week’s Democratic National Convention and was granted a space to broadcast from within the event.

While he was present, the live broadcaster shared thoughts and opinions about multiple talks delivered, offering his unique perspective and criticism.

He then was asked to leave.

Initially, all we heard about the DNC streaming incident came directly from Piker himself, leaving us uncertain about the reasons behind his termination from the Democratic National Convention.

On Twitter, Piker announced that he had returned home from the Democratic National Convention and was kicked out for causing a stir by advocating for undecided campaign issues. In her closing speech, Kamala Harris seemed to shift her stance towards more moderate policies.

In response to being expelled from the convention, Piker took to Twitter to express his dissatisfaction with Harris’s speech: “I stand for working-class issues, peace, affordable healthcare and education for everyone, a pathway to citizenship for immigrants, and investing taxes in our nation’s infrastructure rather than benefiting military industrial complex executives. Kamala’s speech appeared antagonistic towards these values.”
