Channing Tatum says fiancee Zoe Kravitz is a ‘nerd for movies’ while praising her filmmaking skills in directorial debut

As a die-hard fan of Channing Tatum, I am simply awestruck by his latest revelation about his fiancee Zoe Kravitz and their shared passion for movies. Having followed Channing’s career closely, it is evident that he has always been surrounded by strong, creative women, but Zoe’s dedication to her craft takes the cake.

Channing Tatum playfully referred to his fiancée, Zoe Kravitz, as a “movie enthusiast” while expressing admiration for her directorial debut, “Blink Twice.”

During his appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, the host commenced by praising the movie led by Channing, aged 44, for its exceptional caliber considering it was his debut as a director.

The star replied: ‘She’s such a nerd for movies. Like, she doesn’t do anything.’

On an average day off, Channing usually watches around three to four films, expressing his affection for this activity by saying, “We absolutely adore it.”

He also revealed Zoe, 35, had been working on the script for seven years.

He went on to say, “It seems she began drafting this piece around seven years back when she was in London for a movie. With ample free time on set, it appears she utilized that downtime to write.”

1) It was named “Island X.” Here’s the initial version of the work. I believe these were the first two phrases written on its title page. At the time, she wasn’t entirely sure what the story would entail, but she was certain it would bear this name.

Channing continued by expressing his admiration for her method: ‘I was simply amazed by her approach because the initial script I read was incredibly daring, taking some of the biggest risks I’ve ever witnessed.’

He said her passion for the project was so strong that she can’t stop working on it.

He stated: ‘I guess you could say, the film has been completed… It will soon be released. After the movie’s release this weekend, it won’t occupy our space anymore. And she, she’s incredibly persistent and tenacious, and I couldn’t be prouder of her.’

Blink Twice is scheduled for release in theaters on Friday.

Apart from discussing various topics, Channing mentioned planning a trip to watch Taylor Swift perform live with his 11-year-old daughter Everly, whom he shares with his former wife Jenna Dewan (aged 43).

In a candid moment, the actor from Magic Mike admitted that there was significant anticipation surrounding his dance performances, and while he did participate, he kept his movements somewhat controlled.
