Teen Mom 2’s Kailyn Lowry reveals her engagement to Elijah Scott after welcoming twins Valley and Verse

On her Coffee Convos Podcast, the radiant Lowry, aged 32, spilled the beans that she and the dashing Scott, at 26 years old, are all set to walk down the aisle. And guess what? He popped the question! I can hardly wait for their big day!
In a recent broadcast, the celebrity from Honesdale, Pennsylvania – mother of eight-month-old twins Valley and Verse, and one-year-old son Rio with Scott – disclosed to her cohost Lindsie Chrisley (age 34) whether she was married or not.
As an over-the-moon admirer, let me share a tidbit: “Nope, I’m blissfully unmarried – but check out this sparkler! It’s the pre-wedding ring that Scott bestowed upon me during our proposal.”
Previously, Scott had proposed marriage to Lowry, but because there was no ring involved, she didn’t consider his proposals as sincere or important.
Lowry stated, “I had said something along the lines of ‘let’s take things as they come, I’ll reach out when there’s a proposal; if that ever happens, we can reassess’. And then unexpectedly, one day he presented me with an engagement ring.”
In simpler terms, Lowry mentioned that Scott’s unconventional idea, which originated from an unexpected location within their shared living space, was a delightful surprise to him.
One time, he walked into the bathroom as I was preparing myself, and he presented me with a ring. lowry explained, sounding quite delighted, “Wow, thank you!”
According to Lowry, Scott chose not to kneel when proposing to her due to their shared past marriages. They found the traditional romantic gesture unnecessary as it didn’t align with their personalities. In simpler terms, they were already married and felt such a grand romantic gesture wasn’t reflective of who they are as a couple.
Lowry expressed a preference for avoiding being “in the spotlight” and mentioned that she would have felt more content if Scott had simply left the ring on the table and exited.
From 2012 to 2017, Lowry was previously married to her former husband Javi Marroquin, while Scott tied the knot with his former wife Kayla Brooke from 2018 until 2020.

Lowry expressed that he had never encountered such a situation throughout his whole life, sharing it with the media outlet. He referred to the individual as a heavenly being on Earth, and couldn’t fathom why he merited such a wonderful person.
Lowry mentioned that her fiancé possesses an optimistic attitude, stating that no challenge is insurmountable for him – they’ll find a solution. She also noted that this approach is quite distinct from what she’s used to.

Lowry pointed out that Isaac and Elijah are inseparable. When Elijah isn’t present for a match of Lincoln’s, Lincoln would ask, “Where is Elijah?”, not bothering to search for himself but rather seeking his friend instead.
Later, Lux and Creed developed a fondness for him as they playfully interacted with him, finding him to be quite the ‘cool parental figure’. However, it’s important to note that he wasn’t necessarily their father, but more like the cool parent they admired.
