Story Highlights

- The game is offering the Premium Pass for free, while the Throwback Rotation reset and Battle Pass Season 23 begin from March 31.
Cygames has announced that its popular card game, Shadowverse, will be discontinued. Service will end worldwide on June 30, 2026, and in Japan on July 1, 2026. After 10 years, the game, which launched globally on June 17, 2016, will no longer be available.
Shadowverse grew into more than just a card game and is now ending soon
It’s so sad to see Shadowverse go! After ten amazing years, this awesome card game is shutting down. A lot of people don’t realize it actually started as a spin-off of Rage of Bahamut. It’s been incredible watching it grow over the years – I remember when Portalcraft came out, and all the different game modes they added. They released over 5,000 cards across 32 different sets! It’s been a wild ride, and I’m really going to miss it.
Shadowverse will no longer be available after 7 p.m. (Pacific Time) on June 30, 2026, marking the end of its 10-year run. We extend our deepest gratitude to all players who have enjoyed the game, and its spirit will continue in Worlds Beyond! #Shadowverse

The Shadowverse team has announced that the game will shut down on June 30, 2026, at 7:00 PM Pacific Time. They shared the news on X (formerly Twitter).
Enjoy the final stretch with some generous rewards
After the recent announcement, players can no longer buy Crystal and Leader Card bundles in Three! However, any Crystals or cards you already have will still work. As a bonus, everyone will receive the Premium Pass for free, and a new card pool with the Throwback Rotation will be available starting March 31st, alongside the launch of Battle Pass Season 23.
It’s really bummed me out to see this game ending – it’s had such an amazing history, with all those big tournaments, the World Grand Prix, spin-offs, and even an anime! A lot of us are hoping they’ll add an offline story mode, which would be awesome. Still, I guess we can always enjoy Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond if we want to keep playing.
