In a message shared on social media, the TIME Person of the Year aged 34 expressed that the reasons behind the show cancellations left him feeling an unexpected surge of apprehension, along with an overwhelming sense of remorse since numerous individuals had prepared to attend these events.

The performer praised the enthusiastic fans and committed artists during the European stretch of her Eras Tour, which concluded following performances in London. She also thanked the officials who thwarted the Vienna plot, as it meant that we mourned canceled shows instead of lost lives.
Swift explained her reason for not speaking out sooner: “I chose to channel all my energy into ensuring the safety of the nearly half a million people attending shows in London. I wouldn’t discuss something publicly if I thought it could potentially endanger those who come to my concerts. In such situations, staying quiet can be a form of self-restraint and timing is crucial. My main focus was completing our European tour safely, and I’m happy to say we accomplished that mission.”
3 teenagers are currently being held, as they’re suspected of plotting a potential attack during the concert happening at Ernst Happel Stadium from Aug. 8-10. Investigators have disclosed that two out of these suspects appear to have been influenced by online extremism. However, a legal representative for one of the primary suspects claims that the teen’s alleged schemes were merely unrealistic ideas he couldn’t execute.
Swift’s record-setting tour continues in October, as she takes the stage once more for shows in the United States followed by Canada.
